Advice re Online Date

I am on the heavy side and I met a guy online. I was surprised when he responded to me and wanted to hook up. I told him upfront that I was overweight.

 

He appreciated my honesty and we met anyway - now we work out together. Actually, it turns out that he is a personal trainer/physician and he has been helping me loose weight.

 

It is a great experience because we both benefit from my success....

Why is weight such an issue ANYWAY?

 

Why is height such as issue to women? And dark hair? And a handsome face?

 

It works both ways you know.

 

So many women these days for some reason except to date only tall,dark,handsome men and feel that men should be quite fine with the fact that they look like the Oros man.
