Hope143
I forgot to mention that last week he did threw out that box. I didn't ask him to and even after that incident i didn't mention about that or anything again but he did it on his own and threw it when he cleaned his room last saturday. That's why when i saw that he was on her myspace i'm like confused and got upset again. Thanks guys for all the advices and replies. I'm just wondering why now after 2 yrs being together you'd think this will happen early in our relationship. Link to comment
Excalibur
Look - maybe he is hung up on her and settling for you. But that's how life goes - that just means that he's not really in love or ready to love someone yet - but he's enjoying life at the moment, and maybe whenever he resolves his issues - you might be who he falls for. Maybe not. Link to comment

Excalibur
But you're not going to get an explanation. That's what you don't get. This guy doesn't know how he feels about her - people with "baggage" don't know what they think or feel, want or need- that's why "baggage" is created. So they have an example or model of what situational detail to avoid or get into.....unrealistically every time. He's going to tel you he loves you - he does love you. He's going to tell you for the obvious reason of keeping the peace he's "over her". He might be over her while wishing he wasn't. He might be 'over her' - because shse won't have him back - but if he can't tell the difference himself, he can't tell you anything. HE threw out the momentos.....that might be good, it just means he's learned the lesons and has the memories and doesn't need the "box" - or it could be that he threw it out with resentment and anger at having to do it becuase he was "caught" with it by you - at hwhich point he's building resentment anger against you - but doesn't know it yet. He can't communicate with you- any better than he communicates with himself, which is very poorly. Link to comment
Ac143
I dont know, seems like we are putting a negative twist on this. Just go with your gut, no matter what he tells you. I do agree though that he might just say certain things to keep the peace...whether or not he is telling the truth is up to you to decide. Link to comment
Hope143
i just want to talk to him and ask him on why he was on her myspace.. did he look her up? was there a reason? I think i deserve some explanation. I'm upset and a lil hurt but i'm not mad at him. Link to comment
DN
I think that you are over-reacting here and in great danger of ruining your relationship. He has said he loves you - believe him, love him back and get on with making the relationship even better. Link to comment

But... speak up dont hold in what is bothering you cause in the long run you have to be able to express yourself to him and vice versa. Link to comment
