Instruction manual for a condom?

There are a number of reasons why i am still a virgin.

Lets tackle one of these right here.

I don't know how to use a condom. I know that you put it on and roll it down.

I'm uncircumcised, now in this issue that seems to complicate things, clearly you have to pull the foreskin back and then put the condom on? i guess?

The thing is it feels tight and restricting and is not comfortable at all, i certainly couldn't get much pleasure with that on, your not even really going to feel anything.

I'm trying not to be crude but i've simulated the action of sex with a condom on. This doesn't work, the condom just rolls back up and it gets even more uncomfortable, because the foreskin moves as well and not because the condom is lose, it's tight!

I've tried a condom on about four times in my life, each time certain that i must have made a stupid mistake the last time and that this time it will work. I'm starting to think that i'll never be able to get it right and then even if it does go well i wont be able to feel anything anyway. Condoms are really horrible things! i wish there were no STD's in the world, that would make things alot better.

Yes, I can relate. It's a necessary evil in most cases though. The head of my poor penis always ends up getting wedged into the resevoir tip part. Also, there is the indignity of attempting to remove it and dispose of it afterwards when all you really want to do is pass out (or sorry, I mean cuddle and bask in the afterglow)

My fiance is uncircumcised and we've been using condoms for a long time. Never had a problem once. When he's erect we dont' have a problem with the foreskin so i mean, you shouldn't either but everyone is different, but yeah, i guess you pull the foreskin back to apply it. Whenever the condom is on though, his foreskin goes over just a little bit, but it's still fine and he isn't uncomfortable. Maybe you have more foreskin than some guys. Anyway, i found a question similar to yours right here, maybe this will help ya.

yeah the boxes of condoms come with little instruction pamplets for people who dont know what to do with it.

It even mentions that the penis should be fully erect, skin peeled back, and condom "applied"

And until i read these past few posts i never truly understood how much guys hated condoms and why.. it may be something like a woman tying a string around her labia little uncomfy, very unnatural, little embarrassing.. not pleasing in the least. got it.

The idea is to get the rolled part of the condom right to the base of the penis so it doesn't tend to roll up again. If your foreskin covers the head even when you're erect (it doesn't in most cases I suspect) then yep, you'll want to tug it back as you start rolling the condom on. Once you've got the condom rolled most of the way on whoever, grab the part already covered and pull it forward (both condom and foreskin should move as a unit) and roll the condom down even further. Do this a couple of times. In essense what you're doing is stratching the skin a little at the base and rolling the condom down fully. If you get it right the rolled part will be well down, almost to your body.

Not sure quite how you are simulating the sexual act, but I'm suspecting you're using something not quite like a woman in that way. What I'm saying is, it's extremely unlikely that when really having se, provided you have the condom fully on, that it would ever start to roll back up. That part doesn't tend to come in contact with her body. Also don't forget she'll be either naturally or artificially lubriated so she'll tend to slide quite easily on the outside, while the inside remains unmoving in you.

If the condom feels too tight and restrictive then try a thinner or larger diameter one. Some are thick and rubbery and a pain to use. Others are extremely thin and stretch very easily. Make sure you leave a little space at the tip, sometimes it can help to hold the end of the condom between your finger and thumb when you start to roll it on to leave a little bit of space. You don't want air in theatspace if you can help it.

They're not too bad, and they shouldn't be uncomfortable. Granted they dull sensation slightly, but sometimes that can extend things so it's not all bad. Make sure you withdraw before you start to soften though, leaving the condom inside her of course totally defeats the whole thing. If you do linger a bit linger, when you start to withdraw use your fingers to make sure you have the rolled end of the condom, and make sure it comes out with you.

That link is very good actually, i think that should work.

They really don't feel right to me, it makes me wonder how many people find them uncomfortable, somebody should do a poll, but yeah like BellaDonna and clementine Orange also said they are a necessary evil.

That's going to take some practice, but they are brilliant instructions, there is an art to this. They should have really taught this in school but they only showed the girls in our school.

I think your right about the lubrication and contact, i still find it difficult to fully imagine what it would be like exactly so maybe i've been expecting something slightly wrong, i always assumed it would be tightish, or just not so loose.

I will have to look into the different kind of condoms, i've never really looked at them before. It's an embarrassing topic and i've never bought any myself so i've never given the type much thought.

Hell, i'm a female and i can't stand using condoms either. I hate having to pause and have my bf put one on, then the film of slime that condoms have is gross too. Makes oral sex tough after a condom was on too, it tastes bad of course. They are annoying too, when you run out, you gotta buy more, and they are by no means cheap most of the time. There have also been times where we were in the mood big time...then i reach into the drawer...and there's NONE lol. Yeah, condoms are a pest. They sure are great for protecting against pregnancy and STDs tho lol.

If it helps though, the kind we use is the ultra-thin or thinner than average ones. He is comfortable with those the most, so maybe this is better for men that are uncircumcised. Durex and Lifestyles is the only two brands we've used so i'd recommend those, he didn't like trojans too much.

My issue is that during the focusing and concentration involved in the correct putting on of the condom, then sometimes I lose some or most of the "hardness" in my penis, which makes it even more difficult to put on (I can't believe I'm sharing this with everyone - my, my, we are "open and sharing" here on ENA) Obviously I'm not some horny 19 year old with a perpetual woody.

Opening the little folder thing can be fiddly and distracting too if you have no fingernails. Actually the whole interruption of the flow of things is annoying.

Hate the condom. I'm not even a sailer!
