Valentines Day jitters

Ok folks, so I been doing good here with a new girl and V-day is quickly approaching... Since the 'relationship' is new, i'm a bit confused and a little scared about buying her something, but I definetly want to. I don't want to go overboard, but would flowers, a card and maybe a little candy be nice? Problem is every card I see has a hearts etc..., but I did find one with a pretty subtle message "wishing a wonderful Valentines day", it does have a heart on the front though... any help would be great, ladies especially!

I think you're on the right track...I'd go for just a nice bouquet of flowers...

Hey V-Neck it sounds like me and you are in very similar situations from reading your threads and posts to others.

I heard of an idea awhile back and have never really had the chance to use it. Its kind of corny but apparently it has got great feedback as a valentines gift.

Buy a small fishbowl (nothing too big or elaborate) fill it with pink, white and red rocks. Buy a small colorful fish that wont die the next day. There you go. The whole thing will cost about $10 and every time she feeds it she will think of you.

Now I know you may think its too early to get her a pet, but its only a fish and if it dies, no big deal (please dont send PETA after me for that statement). It allows you two to joke about it, name it together, stuff like that.

If your not ready for that, get her flowers!
