stylz987
So I've been dating this girl for around 3 months, and I'm going to send her flowers on Valentine's Day. We're not yet to the point where we say "I love you", so I was wondering: 1) Is it a big deal to send a bunch of roses? 2) Is it a bad idea to sign the card with "Love," Thanks! Link to comment
AngelEyez
I think it would be a good idea to give her roses, but maybe not red ones, because those signify romantic love. There are also coral and orange coloured roses that signify desire. Yellow roses mean joy and friendship. Pink roses mean gratitude and appreciation. Sign it "Yours Truly" Link to comment
Crazyaboutdogs
If you are not at the point where you are ready to say I love you, then don't write it in a card just because it is Valentine's Day. There is no law that says you have to send roses on Valentine's Day....there is also no law that says that everyone who gives their partner roses on Valentine's Day is passionately in love with their partner. Roses on Valentine's Day is just the cliché that everyone thinks they have to do. Why not celebrate Valentine's Day in your own special way with your girlfriend doing something that she likes doing. Give her a nice treat, something special to mark the day and show her that you care without having to get into sappy Hallmark sentiments. Link to comment
SLMitchell918
Roses are great, but don't feel like you have to send them just because it is Valentine's Day. As much as some women love them, not all do. Signing yours truly is a great away to end on the card if you do decide to give flowers. Best of Luck. Link to comment
