Embarassing Question (about down south)

Hey this is a really embarrassing for me... I'm 22 years old and I've started to notice that I'm growing hair on my scrotum Like it's not all over but in a few areas and some of it even goes almost half way up. Right now I just always shave it away but of course it keeps growing back, I'm not sure if I should try waxing it? I think that would hurt like hell. Has anyone else been in my situation and what actions did you take?

Hi Worried2Much, and welcome to ENA.

Well, my friend, I too have hairy nuts. It's genetic, and pretty common. I just keep it trimmed so that the missus can find her way in the jungle of love.

In all seriousness, I use scissors and keep it trimmed. Just gotta be careful, and you'll be fine. I tried shaving, but when it grows, it itches like crazy.

As long as you keep things trimmed, girls don't mind.

ya dude, dont' worry, we all have hairy cack n ballz

If it bothers you that much, you could always Nair em, though you might want to try it on your chest or other sensitive area first to see how your skin reacts.

ohh woops now I'm even more embarrassed I meant it's growing on my "member"

Yeah I have hair growing on the shaft, as well. I keep that trimmed to.

Thats just how some of us is made. Nothing to be embarrassed aboot.

OK maybe not such a good idea I read somewhere that you could try the Nair, but don't know anyone firsthand whose tried. Hmm, can you get em lasered??

Yes, you can get it lasered. I actually asked a dermatologist about this, because my bf had it going up his shaft, and it irritated me. He shaved it or trimmed it, but it made my punani RAW as hell. I was getting desperate.

She said laser does remove it without scars. I imagine it might be a bit painful though.

I would be cautious about Nair as well -- but a girls parts are more susceptible to irritation, because they are mucous membranes. The penis is not covered with the same type of skin. Still, I'd stay away from that.

LostInMyThoughts -- your woman doesn't find the shaft being trimmed irritating while engaging? It's very pokey from my experience, like stubble.

So did your man get his lasered and how much does it cost? I usually keep mine trimmed using an epilator which can be a little painful but it pulls hair out by the root so when the hair grows back in it's not as sharp or p r i c k ly

I don't shave, I just use scissors to trim it, so it's not like stubble at all.

Think more like a hair cut (not a buzz cut).

*gasps* Be careful. I can't even handle that stuff on my legs.

i just keep it all trimmed up. no waxing or actual shaving. no razors on that sucker for me. but trim it up with clippers. works for me. i keep it short, but soft enough for the ladies. not stubbly at all.

No, he didn't get it lasered while we were together. We have since broken up, and I don't know if he ever looked into it, but I get the sense that I was the only one whose skin got abraded from it.

What's an epiltor exactly, and where can you get it? Pulling hair out by the root in that area sounds awfully painful!
