brooooooooke Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 I was just curious if anyone else goes completely insane about food when they are PMSing. Seriously, all i think about is the next time i am going to eat and i never feel full enough. I have eaten SO much today and i usually hardly eat at all. it's driving me crazy and i'm supposed to be on a diet right now which is obviously failing. It's really frustrating and i just need people to tell me that this isn't going to last and that i will get over it soon. Thank you! Link to comment

I will eat something then some time will pass and I feel like I need to eat again! Makes you feel like I pig, doesn't it? Didn't think about it being PMS which I am going through right now, might be a connection though as I now see the pattern almost every month... Link to comment

I never really thought about it as PMS being the cause... maybe because I am just to b****y right now! I would think it would be hormones tricking your mind into thinking you are hungry when you are not. But looking back it seems like I will eat like crazy for 2-3 days then it goes back to normal again. I know by the time I get my period I hardly eat at all. Which isn't healthy but when it is that time I just don't have the appetite. Oh and yes it is a good feeling knowing that I am not going crazy about food! Link to comment

I feel very bloated since I ate a lot. I don't think it is TO much then usual though as I keep eating small amounts of food constantly. Just know that this to will pass as all womanly problems do that's EXACTLY what i keep doing. i have just constantly snacked throughout the day. theyve all been fairly healthy snacks but still.. thanks for helping me to feel better! d24 Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 My gf goes through this a lot, everytime she's 'on' she gets the munchies. Instead of eating anything and everything try making sure that you have something 'healthy and filling' when you're 'on'. My gf has a desk full of granola bars, raisins, low-fat biscuits, etc... although she 'pigs out on them' (her words not mine! lol) she's only gettign as many carbs/calories as normal so she doesn't have to worry about weight gain. If anthing she loses weight by eating twice as much healthy stuff... *frowns* You're not the only one as far as I can tell! Just try to resist the temptation of ordering in a pizza or going out for a packet of potato chips... etc. Link to comment
