25

I had so much hope for myself, but never did anything. I could have been something. I was too tied up. Tied up in things that didn't matter. boyfriends that didn't work out. Friends that are no longer friends.

I physically feel 40, mentally 18.

I wish I could go back in time. Start over. I would do things so different. I would have listened.

Now I am 25. 25, with no goals. With no dreams. My life is falling. Falling fast. He is the only thing keeping me here. Picking me up from hitting the ground.

Loving him is the only reason I want to live.

But what if it ends just like all the others?

I see a pattern here in your behavior. You know that in the past you've been overly invested in romantic relationships, and that this has left you feeling empty and without much drive. But you're in the same kind of situation right now that you were in then. Twenty five is not too late to make positive changes in your life, and it also isn't too late to start over entirely. You mentioned that you don't have any hopes or dreams right now, but what are some of the ones that you used to have?

You're 25 and you have lots of time to create the life that you envision for yourself. Is there an actual health problem that makes you feel physically 40? Look at it this way...in 10 years your going to be 35, no matter what. So, you can do something to improve your life or you can do nothing...either way you'll still be 35. Change takes work, you just have to willing to put forth the effort.

There is no way I am going to break up with my boyfriend. He is my everything. I know that is unhealthy but I love him more than myself. I know if he wasn't with me, i'd probably kill myself.

I always wanted to go back to school. Never had the chance. I can't now. I don't have the funds or the time since I am working full time to pay my bills.

I don't feel pretty anymore.

We live in a youth obsessed society and my youth has passed me by.

I dont know who am am, where I am going.

I want to go backwards. I want to start over. I hate the way I feel. I have no friends left. I feel like I am forgotten. They all moved away, or got married, and I ust feel nobody cares about me but my boyfriend.

And he will probably leave me one day for a youngr girl, since that is what most men will always want.

I got a babys brain and a old man's heart

...thats a great song...anyway...wow...what can one say to you starshine...no one's talking you out of thinking another way...

...when i was in the marines at this one base the General would come out on Friday to give some words of wisdom before everyone ran off to get drunk...one speech was that sometimes all you need to do is endure...not win...not progress...not succedd...just endure...he said "the quiet, silent, will to endure must also exist; bursts of heroism alone are not enough.".

At 25 your youth has hardly passed you by! If you want to go back to school there are student loans available, part-time courses, or on-line courses.

It sounds like you are suffering from depression...have you ever spoken to your doctor about how you're feeling?

I really can't take any loans. I'm too much in debt as it is...i dont think I could get a loan f I wanted to.

I feel 40 because I am ALWAYS tired. I constantly have headaches, I get short of breathe really easy, I get chest pain a lot, and I just feel worn down in general. I dont think I should feel this way at my age. and I eat pretty healthy and I get about 7 hours of sleep a night.

you shouldnt rely on a guy to make you want to live. you need to find something that interests you and go for it. make life about you and not him as much.

I don't want to live.

But I love him so much I don't want to be without him. If that makes any sense.

The few interests I've had in the past, I don't really enjoy as much.

It would be a good idea for you to see your doctor as soon as possible to deal with your health issues and your depression. You need to find out why you are short of breath and having chest pains. If you're not feeling well physically and are always feeling tired, it could be contributing to why you're feeling down. At 25 you shouldn't be feeling constantly tired (unless you children that you're taking care of...then it would be completely normal!)

I would go to a doctor but I REALLY don't have enough money. I don't have insurance and i am living paycheck to paycheck hardly making it by. and I don't have an children. Thank god!

I just wanted to comment, though it is always best to go to the dr, I used to get chest pains and shortness of breath due to stress, turned out they were anxiety attacks. PLUS I wasn't eating right at the time.

Check your phone book for a budget type of health clinic. They will go off of the amount of income you have. May only cost you $2. Might be a long wait but worth it if you don't have insurance.

I'm in Canada, so I know our health care system is different than yours, but are there any kind of free resources for you? Why don't you call social services and tell them your situation...they could probably point you in the right direction, especially for the depression that you're feeling.

I think they have help from the state. Bu it isn't free. And if they were to give me any meds I wold have to pay for it

Medicaid requirements are different in every state. Here in Missouri you have to be Pregnant, disabled or under 19 and living with your parents as a dependent.

There are different health clinics through the US that go off your budget though. Defiantly something to look into.

I wish our health care system was like Canada's. I just watched a documentary about our health care system compared to other countries and I couldn't believe how bad it was! I knew it was bad but not THAT bad.

Maybe if Hilary gets elected she'll change all that

Maybe, or it might just go to where we get the same poor service and it mandatory for everyone to have insurance (at a lower rate hopefully) like it is the law to have auto insurance.

Starshine have you tried the health department in your state?
