Snoopy24
So my boyfriend and I's one year anniversary is on February 7th. I want to do something really special. I was thinking about making a scrapbook. We have A LOT of pictures. But would that be cheesy? If I made one, I'd have to start now, because they are a lot of work! lol We are taking the day off and he said he is going to take me out somewhere nice. Any other ideas? Link to comment
havefaith
I made my boyfriend a scrapbook, I was afraid it might be too cheesy but he ended up really liking it. I think for anniversaries DOING things is a lot more fun than giving things... like a weekend getaway or special concert, or a picnic. On our first anni we found this wild animal safari where you drive through and feed all these beasts, it was a blast... second anni we hiked a mountain, had a picnic then a nice dinner. It's always wonderful to make memories on an anniversary. Link to comment

I know he is taking me out to dinner at night, and we both took off during the whole day. It's in February, so I am not sure if we can do much outdoor activates. Although..we are having a heat wave here now. Today it was like 65! haha. But I doubt that will last long. Link to comment

thekid55
The scrapbook is a great idea. My ex-girlfriend made me one for my birthday last year in December and one last June for 1 year. I absolutely loved it. She spent a ton of time on it. Find pictures in magazines that bring back memories or special events. I.e- places to eat, good moments together. He'll really like it. I lit up when I looked through it. It's better than any present you could buy. Good luck. Message me if you need to. Link to comment

ilovethatgirl
Well I can't speak for the adult perspective but that would wholly convince me that she loved me because she not only made a scrapbook for me but was also sifting through memories of time spent together and (I presume) enjoying it. greenmonster
sex coupons!! think up of a buncha kinky stuff...type em up on a computer and take em to kinkos to print off on a bunch of colorful 3x6 pieces of paper and bind em together into a nice little book... I got that a couple years ago from the girl I was with and thought it was really cool...too bad we broke up before I was able to use half of em...damn... Link to comment

random_stranger
Scrapbooking is great esp since you have a lot of pictures, but another option may be a music video slide show? (especially if you're short on time). I made one for my ex for our last Valentine's together. I had a mix of photos and videos that I put together along with Backstreet Boy's song "Love is..." I burned it onto a Cd, made a Cd label with our picture together, and then I packed it in one of the DVD covers that I also decorated. It's a great mixed media format and the song sets the mood for the memories. (If you're thinking this is too hard... there are plenty of software programs out there that can help make it easier. I think the one I used was... Memories on TV? Can't remember... it's been a while.) But regardless of what you choose to make, I'm sure your bf will love it anyway =) Link to comment
