Forced off the pill...

My prescription expired at the pharmacy near the end of December without my realizing it. They called me to tell me that the scrip wasn't "authorized." Then, of course, it was the holidays and I couldn't get a new one since everyone was off for the holidays, so now I can't start the pill again until the end of the month...

 

However, I'm trying to figure out if my hormones are messing with me or what. Last few days I've felt sudden feelings of despair and started crying for NO reason. Plus, my sex drive got majorly ramped up. I don't like the sudden feelings of depression, and I hope it's just my hormones being off kilter.

 

Anyone had this when they went suddenly off the pill?

The sex drive going up is definitely related to the pill, the depression well that's hard to say. Perhaps ask the pharmacist.

I hate this sex drive thing with the pill though -- it's like, I'm taking the pill so i can have sex, but then on it, it lowers my sex drive?? Argh!

I felt the same way. I thought that was probably how it worked. No sex drive, no sex, no baby. LOL

for your questions, yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes and yes.

 

the pill did it, and will continue to. it's like a hard drug and you do get withdrawl symptoms when coming off it.
