The only thing you need to get a date...is another date?

This is the the theory that if it rains, it pours. You can go for months (or years!) without any dates / interest from the opposite sex. But as soon as you get one...you suddenly get many!

 

What do you all think of this theory?

 

For me it rings home. Though I think it's because that first date gives you confidence (that you ARE attractive to the opposite sex)..and confidence is sexy.

I don't see how it would be tested in science or hold up. Just because people take a survey doesn't mean it has anything to do with nature.

Yea, but i think it has to do with yourself being happy and so you draw more people in.

Not saying it is scientific proof. Just asking for your experiences and thoughts.

Theories are thrown around all the time...few are conclusive.

Just interested that's all as this is one theory that has always worked for me!

I feel i can relate some of own personal experience on this(as a guy). When i went for years without getting any dates, but the moment i as in a relationship with a woman, suddenly more women seemed to take interest in me.When it comes to women, i sometimes think they only want what they cant have.

it is related to happiness. when you are in the dumps cause you can't get a date, then you get one, your mentality can shift. you go from grey to some bubbly color. it exudes and more and more are attracted to that happiness.
