If not, wait and see what happens next time, then maybe it will be easier to see. In the case that you did hurt him, he probably would have said something - maybe it just didn't feel very good (which i'm sure doesn't make you feel any better, but it's a possibitility). I think lube or massage oil etc. helps a lot with hand jobs. The skin on the penis is kind of rubbery and it can easily get caught and tugged by a hand, which can't feel good.

Yes, because if he were uncircumcised, it's a different story. Those who aren't are more sensitive, esp with hand jobs. The "uncut" portion can be pulled too hard -- that is what guys tell me -- and it can hurt quite a lot.
