xxfitchick
For those of you who are unfamiliar with my story, my boyfriend of almost two years and I were on a break due to my recent change in behavior, namely becoming needy, jealous, and generally unpleasant. We were supposed to get back together after two weeks, but he extended it, so we are apart for six weeks total. i made all the common mistakes at first, begging, saying i'd change, love letter, being mopey and miserable... BUT I kept faith, got my stuff together, changed my behavior through actions and after ONE DAY of being home together, he asked me back out. Additionally, he commented on the fact that I went very LC with him, so I am now a believer. If anybody needs advice or just a more hopeful, optimistic viewpoint, feel free to PM me or post on my thread. I couldn't be happier that he and I are back together and I can tell he's making an effort to make things wonderful. Things are not perfect yet, I still am not fully over some of the hurtful things that happened during the break and my jealousy issues are not fully resolved (but at least i'm keeping them to myself hehe) but I am getting there. Best wishes and happy holidays to all, KEEP THE FAITH!!! YOU CAN ACHIEVE SOMETHING POSITIVE OUT OF A BREAK OR BREAK-UP REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR STORY ENDS LIKE MINE!!! Link to comment
musashi
Fantastic! We could use more of this here. Don't disappear from this site as there are many (such as myself) that learn from people like yourself. And congrats! Wish you the best! Link to comment
greensleeves
Happy to hear that things have worked out for you...it's nice to hear some good news! Link to comment
Crazyaboutdogs
Congratulations!! Just work on putting the hurtful things behind you otherwise they will ultimately interfere with what you have now. Never stop working on yourself to overcome your demons....and be very aware so that you can catch yourself if you start falling back into old behaviours. Enjoy the holidays! Link to comment
