No wonder Scrooge was so miserable. I can empathize... And yeah, the commercials aren't great either. At least I don't have to spend any money on my GF this year. Blah...no I'm really starting to sound like scrooge.

annie24 Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 i'm still puzzled over the 2nd wind commercial for exercise equipment. the guy touting the used fitness products is quite overweight. then when i go to the website, they put his face on a trim body. it's freaking weird. link removed sorry - not quite jewelry, but still an annoying commercial.

Cheesemaster Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Now mention it, those jared commercials have to be among the most annoying things on tv. Like, the writing is so cheesy it is nausating. Then there is that one where the two are driving along that road in the snow, and the dude gives her a necklace deal, causing them to stop at a green light. Don't know about the message there... "our necklaces will give you the urge to hold up traffic", but to me its a "dude, you need a girlfriend" sorta commercial. Ah well, the internets better anyway, and all the pop-ups are still for laptops and i-pods, no jewelry.

Arghh...I just hit the shops for christmas shopping for the first time, and seriously it is as though this time of year is just made for couples in love and happy families.. What about the rest of us??
