watermelon Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 So i know the general consensus is that ebooks like exback etc are a waste of money, because clearly if they worked we would know about it...but just wondering if anyone has ever bought exback or a similar product? did you get any useful tips from it? what were they? i know i know there is no proven 'way' to win an ex back but there are certainly tips and i would love some...

jettison Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 It seems to me that whenever a person is "scheming", eventually their plans are found out. You could be "up to something" for a week, a month, or a year, it makes no difference. Whether you want to call it NC, LC, full contact, whatever, you're still a person with a goal in mind, and that's to get back the ex. So, as long as you're basing your thoughts and actions on that final "magic moment", I don't see how anything good can become of it long term. From my experience, it's those that drop expectations, and are able to move on and date other people while not being bitter about being dumped that sometimes are able to make it work a second time around. If you truly loved some one, then you wouldn't stop having feelings for them and throw a tantrum forever just because you can't be with them. That's not love but merely possession. Of course, you're bound to throw a few tantrums during the initial breakup, but that's to be expected. If the person that dumped you senses that you are playing some kind of game with them, whatever that game may be, it's extremely unlikely that they'll be letting you back in.
watermelon Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 thanks. its awful people try and make money from people in such a desperate situation. i found a website which listed all the different ebooks and said which ebook was best for which age group and the type of relationshop you had ie married, ldr etc. the one for my age group and relationship type said in order for it to work you had to feel comfortable with using guilt jealousy etc on your ex. * * * !!!!!!!!!awful awful
AngryHeart Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Yeah, they are pretty much pointless. You'll get better advice on here. I wouldn't waste my money on this trash.
Clementine orange Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Yeah, they are pretty much pointless. You'll get better advice on here. I wouldn't waste my money on this trash. Totally true about the advice here. Tested by real people with no agenda (generally speaking) Save your money. Get books on how to get "you" back and you'll be better off. Some of the advice I've gotten here and read here has been absolute gold.
orangesoda Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I think it's not so much that they are trash but that they basically tell you exactly what others are telling you on this forum: Go strict NC for a good amount of time. During that time: Work out. Get a new interest. And date a few times. After you've had time to flush out the 'bad' emotional attachment (usually the ones associated more with REJECTION than anything else), then you can sit back and ponder whether getting back together is something that you really 100% want. If that's not the case, then you have in a sense already 'moved on' and improved your life. If it is the case, then you have improved your odds of 're-attracting' the ex because you are: more fit & better looking. have a new activity/hobby to share with your ex. gained some confidence (and insight) into dating (others) in general. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.
yo Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Hmm..this is exactly what I was trying to go for..Has this worked for anyone in getting back their ex???
