livinginsbi Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I've had quite a bit of experience in kissing guys - in all sorts of realtionship definitions. The guy I'm with now, not exactly my 'boyfriend' - yet- tastes incredibly good. I can't quite explain it, but it's wonderful. I've read somewhere that how someone tastes to another person is literally their body chemistries working together. So while he tastes great to me, he may not taste that good to someone else. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I'm quite intrigued because he and I had a major chemistry long before we started a relationship. Anyone else ever experience this?
lunatic Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I have to admit that with a past girlfriend I had issues with her taste and pheromones smelling awful to me. I did not know it at the time but, I could not get past the something is off feeling for the entire year we were going out. So I have been on both sides of the fence with this. Almost all of the women I dated I loved the smell of their hair, taste, and smell all around. I did get one once that was way off and threw me for a loop! 8-O
redrose85 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Only one guy I've ever dated has had what I call a "chemical appeal". But if you're not compatible in other ways, it doesn't even matter
niczeegs Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I like the way my boyfriend tastes when I kiss him too! Then again, I like how he smells....I like everything. Maybe it is a good sign that you love how he tastes? Maybe it is really chemistry working between the two of you?! INTENSE STUFF.
rootcause43 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I'm more into smell of my girlfriends skin. And I'm not talking about her "nether regions" - but the smell of her non-perfumed neck, her stomach, etc. Her scent. Sometimes it takes a while before you pick up on it. But her individual scent does something for me. I think saliva is the same
Gratsy Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I enjoy kissing, no matter who it is. But I enjoy it more with certain guys a LOT more than other guys.
stranded247 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Wow thats really interesting. I always seem to end up kissing guys who have just eaten, the last guy I kissed tasted of tobacco and weed-I pulled away very quickly but thats because he was a stoner. But then there was a guy who tasted like coffee and one who tasted like pepper and the others well they were sort of indescribable but I've never kissed anyone who I've thought wow they are tasty! Some people taste sweet which is nicer, I've always wanted to know what I taste like lol. I hope its good.
pinkelephant Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 If they tasted good to you, do you taste good to them too? lol.
wiser Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 My GF is Asian. She's got a great smell and taste about her. I think it's natural, nothing artificial.
JadedStar Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 My GF is Asian. She's got a great smell and taste about her. I think it's natural, nothing artificial. LOL I doubt nationality has anything to do wtih it wiser.
wiser Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 LOL I doubt nationality has anything to do wtih it wiser. You're probably right...
servedcold Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 New GF and I definitely have some sort of pheromonic taste thing going on, can't stop kissing each other, it's gotta be something in the saliva, as I've kissed a busload of women over the last few years never with this effect. EDIT: Wiser, it's apt you should care about "Asian tastes" as your newly twisted avvy looks like a certain "tricky" ex president...
android12 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 there was actually something on tv about pheromones (spelling?) and they tested on twins, one with an artificial pheromones and took them speed dating to see if the guys were attracted to the pheromones....their results showed it didn't play a part... people can be attracted chemically to each other though, and a certain smell will appeal to one person but not the other as you guys have said. its nice to find people who your compatible with ^_^ in any aspect i spose
love4life Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I had one boyfriend whose smell was a huge turn-off for me, his breath especially. He could have just brushed his teeth and it still smelled disgusting to me. Other boyfriends - their breath smells amazing, no matter what they've consumed or even if they just woke up in the morning. As for taste - that I've never noticed.
shadesofmediocrity Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I do get where you're coming from. People have different body chemistry I guess, I think pheromones are more smell though. I have kissed two guys, and just from that comparison - like I could be confabulating a bit cause I actually have feelings for one and not the other, and haven't got much experience on that front, period... - but one it was just mediocre, and my current boyfriend I enjoy his particular flavour more you could say. hahahaa And I do notice a biitt with the foods. Usually I am wearing some minty lip balm so that is mainly what any taste is other than just ourselves. But speaking of that, you know what is G-R-O-S-S to taste while kissing? Those stupid Hickory Sticks smoked barbeque chip things. EWWWW. xD lol
