Leaving him

I have tried many times before, but I have decided to leave my ex. You might point out that he left me over 7 months ago, and you would be right. But he had not left my mind. I had been wondering if I would see an email from him every time I checked. Wondered if the phone ringing was him. But not anymore. I am shifting the power in this post-relationship relationship back to me, whether or not he sees that is not my concern.

 

I will leave with grace. I will answer his last email kindly, and let him know that I might like to talk someday and that I will let him know when I am ready. If that day ever comes remains to be seen, but this lets me take my time to heal. This is not punish him or to try to make him miss me. This is for me to continue on this road of letting go.

 

I moved to get away from him and now he will know not to contact me. I look forward to enjoying my peace
