The One Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I date almost every weekend, It seems that every time I meet a girl that I like we become intimate on the first date then after that I never hear from her again and everything seems very awkward or I do talk to her and then she doesn't want another date with me. I thought maybe this was just a freak thing but it has happened to me almost ever time I have dated someone in the past. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I am looking for input as to what I can do differently to let love take its course. Thanks in advance for your replys.

That is the way to let love take its course without hormones and lust getting in the way.
Gracelove Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Seriously?! That's weird. Ya, I would definitely suggest not sleeping with someone on the first date. I mean you have absolutely no idea of what they can have!
annie24 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 first, yeah, stop sleeping with them on the first date. second, do you call them afterwards and ask them out? i find what you say odd, because most women i know, after they have a one-night stand, they get disappointed if they guy doesn't call them again. maybe they were waiting for you to call them?
Censored Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 First night intimace is a no-no if you are looking for a long term relationship. Not saying it doesn't happen, just that, well, it is not the best way to start off getting to know someone.
ghost69 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 stop being intimate so fast. sounds like you are being a bit clingy and they are bolting.
Chibby33 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 My question is, are you looking for intimacy or long relationship? Seems you got your priorities set by sleeping on the first date. Listen to the majority here - NO SEX ON FIRST DATE! If you keep doing that, then it shows that sex is all you have to offer in a relationship. I know it's hard when you're in that moment, so don't get yourselves IN THE MOMENT! Keep the date outside of your houses. Control yourselves for God's sake!
