Does anyone else feel a little awkward during 69?

Sorry, I tried searching for 69 posts but it's under the minimum word length allowed for searches so, no luck!

 

My boyfriend and I have done it about two or three times. It's always his idea and I'm just in the moment and agree to it.

 

I'm not completely opposed to it and he's mentioned several times how much he likes it. Whenever we talk about sex, he always adds in a comment about how sexy 69-ing is too. So, obviously, he's really into it.

 

I could take it or leave it. I'm not anti-69, I know he enjoys it, and I'm sure if I could stop feeling awkward and weird, I'd enjoy it too. I do it mainly only because I know he loves it. He does not force me into it at all, by the way.

 

I just feel weird having my ass in his face like that, and having him just so...right up there, you know? I don't know, it just feels awkward to me. I keep doing it in hopes it'll eventually feel normal and good.

I'm not a big fan of the 69 position for the same reasons you don't. I feel too exposed. And then I start to feel uncomfortable. And when I'm uncomfortable, I don't really concentrate on how it feels, you know?

There are several ways to do it. Him on top, you on top, both on your sides, one of you on your side. Maybe try a different position, if you don't like how you feel in one, it could be different in another.

I'm not big on this position, frankly. It sounds sexy, it looks sexy, it's a terrific idea on paper, but mechanically and practically, it just never rises to the level of more than "fun spice." I'll do it and enjoy it to an extent, but I am crap at multi-tasking, lol. Either I am focusing on what I am doing for him, or I am getting into what he's doing and totally forget my "job", lol.
