Is he interested?

Ok, basically I'm just posting this because there's a guy I've liked for months now. We're both in our late teens, I'm one year older than him. I just want to know if you guys think he's interested back or not, so I can know if I should get over him. My friends keep telling me to just ask him to hang out, and see where it goes. But when it comes to that sort of stuff, I'm old fashioned. I refuse to ask him, I think he should be the one to do that, and I'm not budging. I think if he asks, it shows he's interested, rather than me asking and him just saying yes so I don't feel bad. So that's out of the question, lol.

 

Ok. So here's the facts:

 

- He always looks me in the eyes when talking to me.

 

- Taps my shoulder or stomach to get my attention.

 

- Constantly shows me the vehicles he wants to buy.

 

- Says hi in the hallways at school.

 

- Sometimes I catch him staring.

 

But the thing is, whenver I message him online (MySpace ;p), he never responds. It's been months now and all we do is talk in one class. I really want to know if he's interested, and it's getting aggravating. I would love for him to ask to hang out, but he seems shy. Are there any ways to know if he really is interested, or ways to get him to open up more? I've tried like everything!

he's an associate. put forth some effort and see if he turns a cheek. sounds to me like common high school interaction.

I'm in high school too, and i would be doing the same thing if i were the guy. If you only talk to eachother in one class odds are it doesn't mean anything to him.....if it did he would have asked you to hangout already. If you really wana get the guy, be more flirty and do NOT send mixed signals...do it in class and not on myspace.....myspace flirting/talking is stupid and no guy takes it seriously

Well i dont know the guy. In highschool i use to be like that guy I was a little bit afraid and such so i think i would act like that

 

Bassicly what i would do is hint to him that you want to hang out.

Ussaly the most common things girls do when they want to hang out with a guy is say something like

 

So what are you doing this weekend.= ussaly a good hint that a girls wants to hang out.

 

Be a bit flirty and if he dosent respond he either has no idea about communication or he is not interested
