AhypnoticSuggestion
There is a girl that I've been really into for the past few months, and I think she may also be into me, but our as it is our situations are keeping us from letting the other one know. It's complicated. ANYWAY, I figured I just had a bit of a crush on her and it would go away. Today I was at work, extremely angry; I was in one of the moods where I hated everyone and everything. Then, I see her walking towards me and I get this weird sensation in my chest like my heart is melting into my stomach and I find myself unable to hold back a smile. My cares just faded into nothing and I was so happy. I've never had such a sudden rush of emotions from just seeing someone. More than a crush? Or maybe weird type of heartburn? Has anyone ever felt anything similar to this? Link to comment
wiser
She makes you feel good, you have been into her for a few months, and you suspect she is into you. A better question might be, "what are you waiting for?" Link to comment

AhypnoticSuggestion
Minor detail. That is an interesting take. I'm more or less called a fool, or a backstabber even, for wasting my time with this girl by most of the people I talk about this with. I wasn't really sure of what I expected to come out of this thread, I was basically writing down some feelings, but you've given me a bit to think about. is a meaningful relationship worth losing a friend and possibly a few teeth over? crash_2582
I had a friend, he was my best friend from the time we were 6 until we were about 20. He dated this girl in high school for about 7 months, and then broke up with her and then about 3 months later dated her again for 7 months. They were kind of serious, never had sex but did lots of other stuff. He broke up with her both times and told me he didnt love her. Over the time they dated I became really good friends with her and after the second time they broke up we hung out a couple times and I had already known I had feelings for her. Well Long story short we ended up dating and he was hurt by it. It effected our relationship, partly because of he viewing it as backstabbing him but also because our relationship was already kind of on the outs. He had started getting into drugs about a year prior and I wasn't into that so it took its toll. Anyway we stayed friends for 2 more years, though not that close and eventually when she broke up with me he was there for me. Unfortunatley we dont speak anymore but that has nothing to do with her. He was hurt at first, but if this is a true friend he will understand you have feelings that you cannot control and would rather see you happy. I think you should go for it. Link to comment
