Atticus90
went to the doctor with my ex today to see how the baby was doing.. everything is going really well and they think the pregnancy should be good and normal. they asked us about our families health history and stuff like that. the best thing was, i heard the heartbeat of the baby. they put this gelly stuff on her pelvis area and put this microphone thing up against it. pretty neat stuff today. i didn't think u could hear anything so early in the pregnancy. niczeegs
THAT IS SO AMAZING!!! YAY! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU! CONGRATS! That is truly a special moment! Link to comment
Alezia
That's great... Does your doctor know that the baby might not be yours? I am telling you this because if the guy who is the father hypothetically comes from a certain region etc... you will need to go for additional genetic screenings etc... Link to comment
jengh
Wow, that must've been a truly surreal experience for you, huh? I'm glad you're being so supportive in all of this, knowing it may not be yours. You're a good person. Link to comment

Portage
It hits home just a tad more when you can hear that heartbeat. You KNOW there is this little life inside, but the heartbeat cements it. MY GOD, you are having a baby. Congrats Link to comment
Atticus90
thanks everyone its a shame my ex and i were fighting today and the past couple days... when we heard the heartbeat, we just sat there sittin still and silent for like 5 mins... i want to be able to work out all these problems.. hearing all this today just started a new chapter today. i wish her parents were supportive of this and my ex so we can work all of this out. my ex is sort of a bed hopper. can any of that effect the baby? southerngirl
Congrats on hearing the heart beat! It sure is a lifechanging experience isn't it! To answer your question my ex so we can work all of this out. my ex is sort of a bed hopper. can any of that effect the baby? There should be no bed hopping during the course of her pregnancy. Sex during pregnancy is not harmful but multiple partners sure could be. If she were to contract some sort of sexually transmitted infection/desease it could greatly harm the baby. She needs to be very careful, and if she wants to bed hop to always always use protection. Link to comment
Portage
I thought you two were back together?? Link to comment
Mythical_Suicide
my ex is sort of a bed hopper. can any of that effect the baby? Sex itself, unless restricted by a doctor is not harmful but sleeping with multiple partners is definitely a health risk to both mother and baby. It's something that needs to be avoided at all costs. I hope she can mature enough and realize what she's doing is stupid and irresponsible, not just to herself but for the life inside of her. Link to comment
rocio
my ex is sort of a bed hopper. can any of that effect the baby? Why do you keep saying things like this? Do you know for a fact that she's been sleeping around since being pregnant? And has she informed you that the baby might not be yours? I'm worried that perhaps other people are influencing your opinion of her - perhaps your father or others who have other motives. Link to comment
Atticus90
She's swore up and down to my parents and her parents that the baby is mine. And i have no proof that she bed hopped since the pregnancy, but im confident that she has, but she wont admit up to it Link to comment
Mythical_Suicide
If you have no proof, don't assume. It can only cause more problems. Link to comment
Alezia
Yes it can obviously be harmful to the baby if she catches STDs etc... during her pregnancy. They are less harmful if the mother has them prior to the pregnancy as the baby can develop anti-bodies against the STD. If she does have STDs then she can opt for a C-Section birth which would be safer for the baby. If you don't know for a fact that she is bed-hopping then I think I would let it go... Link to comment
