Quick run down. Dated this girl for a year and a half. Her and I were together every weekend. I left for college. She is still in high school. We had a really serious and in depth relationship. She always seemed determined to make it work. She ended the relationship after a month and a half. She told me in the beginning of the long distance that she would try her best. I think she felt maybe abandoned and alone when I left for school. She is seeking others for comfort.

 

Overtime, I was confused to why she broke up with me. So I kept texting, calling, and asking her. She was really turned off by all of this. Eventually she told me not to talk to her anymore. That was around Thanksgiving.

 

Birthday was this past monday. She called me at 12 AM to be the first to say Happy Bday.

 

We haven't spoken much, but the last 4 days or so, she has been IMing me or texting me telling me about people she has seen around that remind her of me.

 

She has even asked me today when the last time I had sex was and I initially responded why? and she was just curious and I told her the last time we were together and she said that it was the same for her. Apparently she thinks this new guy is sweet, but she doesnt think he's better than I am.

 

What do you think this girl's motives are? It doesn't seem like she wants to get back together, but I go home for winter break in a week. I can't help that I love her....Help!

It's impossible to say what her game is... or what she wants. You guys are both young. You don't need a deep and permanent relationship right now. I know she's worked her magic on you and you love her. Still, think 6 months down the road. Even if you get back, will you trust her? Let her go. Let her grow up. Maybe she'll see you in another light.
