I found about 2 weeks ago that my BF is going to leave to go to Spain. I know this had some part to do with me. We have been together for 2 years. I feel guilty and depressed and i don't know what to do for him to stay here.

I know i played a major role in him decideing to leave. I don't blame him. But what can i do for him to saty here. I can't stop crying, even when i am at work. I don't have friends that I can talk to

Please help

Try and talk to him, let him know how you feel, and see if he can understand your point of view. Ask him what it would take for him to change his mind. Ask him what made him make up his mind about going. Communication is what makes a relationship work, lack of communication will make the world fall apart,

i know the main reason he is leaving. and i thought i would help him with that problem. BUt i tried talking to him and he says he still wants to go.

My heart is broken

What esle would i be able to say to him and feel a guilt trip. He has helped me alot. I got out of drugs for him, went back to school, ditch alot of bad people all for him. I know I treated him bad. and he has given me many opportunities. but i don't want him to go.

is he going to spain to live, or is he coming back in a couple months? & if he does go, will you still be in this relationship?

it would be wrong to make him feel guilty leaving you. i know, its hard, & i wouldn't want my bf to leave, but it seems like this is what he wants. you need to let him make his own choices & let him do what he wants to do. but you can still talk to him & tell him how you feel, but dont tell him what to do. if he doesn't do what he wants, he will regret it later. trust me, im not saying this to make you feel bad, because i would definatly be depressed if my bf was leaving too, but if this is something he really wants, then its something he should do.
