My Birthday Problem.

A quick rundown. I dated this girl for a year and a half. A really special and different kind of bond we had. We broke up back in October since I went to college. She said that she couldn't handle the distance and it was too hard for her. She is still in high school. Things have gotten kind of sour between her and I. To the point where she told me not to talk to her or her family anymore after Thanksgiving.

This past Monday was my birthday. She called me at 12:01 AM to be the first to say Happy Birthday. I could tell that she especially woke up to tell me that. We talked for a few minutes. She texted me at 11 AM asking my address here at school and told me to expect something. Then she IMed me around 6 PM asking me about my birthday..then started to question me about why I was talking to some of her friends about our situation awhile back. She even made this myspace post about 10 people in her life, she didn't put any names, but I could tell that the entry about me was "I miss you, but not alot. We had a lot planned for our future, but forever doesn't last that long, etc etc. Thanks for all the good times"

She has IMed me the last four days telling me about people she has seen around that I think remind her of me. It's kind of weird.

I texted her this morning asking her if she sent whatever she was going to. And she said no and that she probably wasn't going to. She said that she wasnt going to send me anything because "I dont talk to her anymore". She clearly told me awhile ago that she didn't want me to talk to her.

I've been enjoying college and have been seeing other people. I know that she has too. I can't help that I love this girl..What do you think of my situation? How should I interpret her behavior?

her behavior? i'd cut all ties with her. then you'd get over it easier and move on as you should. this is why you are 'in love' with her. the contact is happening again and now your feelings are jumping out again. don't let her string you along.
