danlc95 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hey everyone! Well, when my fiancee' went on "break" with me I decided to contact my first love to try to get closure. Well, She actually responded.... She actually told me that she just got divorced from the guy she left me for back in 1997 (we were together for three years.), that she was never mad (I made all the classic break up mistakes.), that dhe just didn't know what to say. She also indicated that the divorce is hard on her. My question is how do I let her know that I'd like to be her friend?

Hope75 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Are you planning to work things out with your fiance? I wonder how comfortable she would be with your rekindled relationship with your newly divorced ex.

Sounds good! She lives very far away right now, but she will be in town for the holidays. I'm wondering if I should just send a card, or drop by in person. I'm not quite sure what to do at this point.
danlc95 Posted December 7, 2007 Author Posted December 7, 2007 Are you planning to work things out with your fiance? I wonder how comfortable she would be with your rekindled relationship with your newly divorced ex. Apparently my ex fiancee' is dating one of her co-workers. She hasn't told me about it, nor has she offically "broken it off" with me, so I'm not all that worried about her at the moment. Although we are going out next week. I'll see where it goes. The strange thing is that I'm more excited about the girl from the past....(?)
