Is she a cheater?

MY current GF is pretty honest with me, which may be a bad thing sometimes. She told me about why her previous marriage failed....her husband cheated on her and then she cheated on him only to get back at him. This has me concerned.....does this make her a cheater, or did she just do a stupid thing out of anger? I believe she is a good person and does not have the intentions of being a cheater, but I just can't seem to get the idea of her cheating out my head.

cheater probably not since she did it to feel better about herself instead of moping ... i would do the same

I should add that she is a strong-minded respectable woman. I don't believe that she is a cheater (I think she did it out of anger, bad feelings, etc).....but I thought I would get some unbiased opinions.

The more interesting thing isn't that she did this but that she communicated this to you. She's putting you on notice right off the bat...mess with her and its going to fire vs fire.

 

Edit: Also you could say she has been hurt alot in the past to put such a display of force forward.

Actually, she has been hurt a lot in the past by men. So should I be concerned? I love her to death, appreciate her honesty, but how do I proceed?

She is going to have issues of trust.

 

If you wanted to be a ruthless manipulator you could giver her mixed signals. Be nice and concerned one moment an indifferent the next. Shed be hooked like crack...

 

...or if she isn't carrying too much baggage...you just build trust slowly by keeping your word. If your going to go the honest reassuring route just make sure you have an edge or are unpredictable in some way. Part 1 is alot more fun though.jk of course

This isn't just my experience but some people cheat on some partners but not with others. There are serial cheaters but therre are those that have grown out of it.

 

I think there's only a 15.4% chance she'll cheat on you.

She may not be a cheater, but seeing as how that's how she reacted to being cheated on then she may have some issues that may surface later on. Be cautious.
