ole21
Hey guys, I dont get to see my girlfriend much because we live kind of far apart, but over the holidays i will be able to see her a lot. I don't surprise her enough and I want to do somthing that will just be so great. It doesn't need to be super expensive, I mean it could be a little surprise or a big surprise where I plan out a whole night together. What are your ideas? anything guys have done for you that has just been amazing? I would just love to hear your ideas. Link to comment
breath.o.fresh.air
My bf made me a picnic once. We went for a walk in a park, sat down by the water and ate. Well, he didn't "make" all of it....but it was so much fun. Also inexpensive. I'm not sure where you are, so I don't know what the temp. is like this time of year - but you could always do an indoor picnic or have a nice meal in or something. Link to comment
ole21
Well it's pretty cold here, like there may be snow on the ground and probly in the 40's or 50's in the day and the 20's or teens at night. I don't know I kinda want to take her somewhere, and if we're going outside (especially at night, we're going to have to bundle up and not be out too long. Link to comment
breath.o.fresh.air
OK. Well, does she have any particular interests? Or is there anything she wants to try? Anywhere you know she wants to go? I can def. understand about the cold - we already have snow on the ground here. Link to comment
winchester3
Give this a try, for your evening in. Make her a just because card. Not one on the computer but with construction paper, glitter or w/e all the arts and crafts stuff from way back in grade school. Write in it how she makes you feel and all that good stuff. You could have someone sneak some flowers into her place of work or classroom if she's at school or working. For the staying in part, get her favorite chick flick movie, if she doesn't have one try "The princess bride" It's an older film but enjoyable love-ish movie. Once the movie is all sorted out have a nice relaxing evening with her sitting cuddled up on the sofa while you watch your movie followed by some mild enjoyable easy going fooling around. Or what ever makes you happy I've had very favorable results with the flower/home made card combination. Link to comment
