-BK-
That is a start. A woman I work with told me to celebrate the baby steps because I was so frustrated that I wasn't making progress. The day I found out my ex put her profile back online, I put all the things in my room/bathroom in a cupboard that I don't look in. I wasn't able to throw things away, but it was honestly one of the best things I did. Once I can stop looking at her dating profile and MySpace page, I'll be doing even better! Link to comment
istillluvu06
i pretty much packed things away in boxes, but there is soo much stuff throughout my house that reminds me of him. I'm very overly sensitive right now and cry at anything,,,,,just sad. Link to comment
evr
yeah, the daily reminders are not fun. I'm still in the same aprtment for over 5 months and I have to get out of here. So damn stressful and hard when you're so depressed and anxious like I am. But good that you did that. Baby steps... Link to comment
Jess...
That's great! I packed up everything as soon as I was dumped. Didn't throw it out (and still haven't - it's been almost a year now) but packed it away out of sight. It's the best thing you can do - like evr said, daily reminders are not fun. I put everything in a box, and stashed it at the back of a cupboard. I'm a very sentimental person, so I didn't throw it out, and I thought perhaps, years from now, I will be able to look back at the things, and smile, not cry. Link to comment
