I dated this girl for a few weeks about a month and a bit ago. Since that time Ive seen her once at a bbq I had at my house when my parents were away and I wasnt all that nice to her :S. Anyway, yeah yeah I feel bad about that but heres the problem.

We have recently started to talk a lot again I have seen her in person twice this week, we both know we still like each other.

How long should I wait before I make a move and ask her about us getting together again? I dont wanna make it too soon as it will be weird, nor too long as I really wanna be more than mates and dont wanna give the wrong impression.

I say you should ask her out with a group of friends and go to a movie or something - just to get to one another again.

Maybe slowly but surely you guys will reconnect? All the best!

Thanks for the advice, when I was chatting to her I brung up going to a snooker place called Rileys one day. Me, her, one of her mates and one of my mates. But thats kinda hard cos my only real mate is at college the days im not and vice versa. And she is also busy the next two weekends in a row!

And I dont really wanna talk to her on MSN for like 2 weeks before I see her again. Lol.

But yeah thanks for the advice once more. Cinema sounds like a good idea, may ask her to go next monday or tuesday. But I know shes a busy girl, and dont wanna take one of the only 2 days in the week she has free for the next 2 weeks.

PS. Nicezeegs, ive only just realized this but I dont know if you know what I meant when I said, "How long should I wait before I make a move and ask her about us getting together again?" I didnt mean, hanging out with her again, I meant, us becoming a couple again. Not sure if thats what you interpreted it as

I think she's brushing you off. She's trying to give you hints... rarely does someone has two whole weekends planned in advance... and specially since she's around your age, right?

I would say you block and delete her from msn. If she wants to talk to you, she'll call you, right?

Well.. That could be a possibility however..

Every Wednesday to Friday she has college. On Saturday she seeing a friend of hers. Not totally sure what shes doing on the Sunday but I know shes doing something.

And next weekend she is going away with family on a trip to Kent. So I dont think its blowing me off, If it were a lie I would know about it.

And yeah I know shes free on Monday and Tuesday but like I said, I dont wanna ask her cos she might want some time to herself or sumin. I asked her if she wanted to hang this afternoon and watch a film over hers but she had coursework to do in the afternoon and she was going shopping with her mum.

And yeah anyway. How long should I wait before I speak to her about us getting back together again?

Wait a minute! You say she's in college?? How old is she?? and you are 16??

There is no set time or best time strategically speaking. If she broke it off, she'll ask you to get back together when she's ready.

She is the same age as me. I am at college as well though lol. Im 17 on 1st November.

But yeah, if she wants to get back together with me, of course she will have to tell me but I wanna be the one to bring up the conversation. Cos I dont think she will if I dont.

And anyway. She said "I would do it all over again in a heartbeat" on MSN so.. But MSN is not the way to talk about that so..

They have "college" a bit younger in Europe. I think it's like high school here...and increasingly here you can take college credits in HS...anyhoo...
