pacifistx Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 I feel ugly, but there is one girl I'm interested in in my Spanish class. I sit right by her. I find it hard to talk to her because my roommate sits next to me on my other side, and the class is full of girls. We are the only guys besides this other guy that sits in the back. Also in the class, there is my hot professor who is like 45. I swear she is hitting on me....always calling me out and doing the body language stuff when I see her after class with questions. Anyway I don't sense any attraction towards me from the girl I'm interested in, but I did return her pen she dropped right after class...and thats it. Plus she's always walking out of class with the girl she sits next to. Ah tomorrow I see her.
Soulhi123 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Your not ugly dude, its just that shes just doing her own thiing. I know what your talking about totally. Listening to her talk seeing whats shes doing. JUST WAITING for that opportunity to maybe get a spark of conversation or interest. Just look good for that class act chill and...shiet LOL IDK...but I did go through that a lot. If you have the bawls and remember something shes interested in ask her out to do it...but that might be coming out of no where right? hmm...what to do...maybe study together before an exam? Ask help with homework? Having her roomate there does complicate things. REMEMBER TO BE NICE to the roomate too..dont get on her bad side...Maybe you and that other dude can hook up to ask them on a douubllee study date or just date..but hopefully that other dude has got what it takes too. Its up to you man! Risk being a little awkward if you ask and get shot down or just sit in class with your head in the clouds. Whatever you do no regrets...but I say ask or do in some casual way!! Good lucks~
pacifistx Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 You totally got it wrong. I said my roommate. My roommate is taking the class with me and he sits right next to me. He is a horrible wing man probably because he has a girlfriend.
Soulhi123 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Ooh crap I apologize haha...well...then at least shes alone~ and maybe you can ask him to sit somewhere else if you wanted to chat with her!! but yeas I totally read that wrong my baad duude.
PeanutButter Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 SCHOOL IS NOT TO HIT ON GIRLS OR GUYS ITS TO GET AN EDUCATION. if you end up meeting someone thats freakn great!! its awesome!! but school is more for education, it could be a good place to meet guys, yet it can be bad at the break up point. but yeh, focus on your studies, not girls!!=] its sexier.
pacifistx Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 This might just be a stupid excuse because I may damn well be subconsciously shying away from the situation, but the classroom is too packed for my roommate to change places, and all of us do seem to have our mentally assigned seats. The bright side is she will always sit next to me! She's nice to glance at. Ah isn't that cute, I'm like a school girl.
PeanutButter Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 well good luck, you should ask her to study with ya sometime. study partners then maybe you can build up sort of a friendship level and ask her out maybe later on?
real2 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 You totally got it wrong. I said my roommate. My roommate is taking the class with me and he sits right next to me. He is a horrible wing man probably because he has a girlfriend. I also seem to have horrible wingmen... Either they are depressed, or they suck at being a wingman. One buddy of mine tells me girls are trouble and should be avoided... disillusioned bastard Makes me irate
Leonhart Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 I have the same problem. But it works both ways too. Most of the girls in my classes are... well, very bright and intelligent individuals. But that's about it, as far as that goes. I'm hoping next term works out a little better. Even so, I spend a lot of time at school outside of my classes, so there's always hope there... possibly.

Ah isn't that cute, I'm like a school girl. give her a couple smiles and actually say 'hi'. ask how her weekend was. get the conversation going already. I have the same problem. pacifistx Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 get it going already? You don't think its too late do you? I'm so doing it today. I'm in a good mood, I just got a job!
Leonhart Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 you never make moves though man. That's not true. I do sometimes, but only if they're interested and I feel like it. And I never go for ugly girls.
ghost69 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 That's not true. I do sometimes, but only if they're interested and I feel like it. And I never go for ugly girls. i have yet to see examples.
Leonhart Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 i have yet to see examples. Examples of what? Anyway, this isn't my topic, so I'm just going to stop posting here. It has nothing to do with the poster's problem. I have enough topics of my own to cover that.
pacifistx Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 Yeah get your bad luck out of here pleeeeeeeeeeease. I talked to a few girls today because today was such a good day. I felt confident because I got that job! First I told the girl, that said hi to me before, hi out in the hallway where she was sitting outside. It didn't go further than that. I then came in the girl(EDIT: I then came in the classroom!!) and brought out my flashcards and studied. Then the girl I'm interested in sits next to me and I told her hi soandso how was your weekend, are you ready for the test. Aw she's so cute and shy in a nerdy way, which also made me talk shyish. The conversation ended when the girl that sits by her came in and they chatted. I went back to my flashcards. After class I walked off with another group of girls from the class, and we were talking about why the prof didn't show up. Yeah we got out early. One of the girls rides my bus and I chatted with her until we got to the bus stop and came accross my roommate, and then I caught eye of a good friend I use to work with and went to chat with him. There we were all of us on the bus. I ended up asking her for her name and said bye. Good?
ghost69 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 wow you move fast. lol, just bad typing. anyways, good job. you got her name. now get the number. should have gotten the number when you were chatting her up.

The bus girl....I was more concerned about the card she handed me about jesus camp...still she's hot...I should've gotten the number.
Leonhart Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Sounds like things are progressing nicely for you. With that kind of moxy, you're bound to get somewhere, especially so quickly.
pacifistx Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 I know, after all I did come in the girl.
Leonhart Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I know, after all I did come in the girl. lmfao That's true. How was it?
brandnew1 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 hahah this was a funny thread. keep us posted about what happens. i think you should talk to her about studying together. that's a first date. you can flirt that way and get to know each other but all in all "it;s for the good of your education"
pacifistx Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 But do you think theres attraction? I dont sense any.
