ok guys and gals, here's the story. i've got a female friend and i like her a lot. since we first started hanging out we just kinda clicked. i've liked girls since i was a teenager, i had a crush on my best female friend in 7th grade. i have to say that the more i've been around this girl, the more i realized i'm crushing on her. i try to drop subtle hints , i don't want to be too overbearing, and i tell her she's pretty , smile and flirt with her. and she flirts with me back, i think. i was coloring her hair and she sighs and says that i'm giving her goosebumps. she wears skimpy clothes like jeans with the rear torn where you can see all -not complaining relly there and to put it simply she's giving me hot and cold signals. some days she will be really distant and the next she's flirty and talking about baths and candles et cetera. here's an interesting tidbit. we went shopping together and i bought this really cute hat. i never wear hats, so i was excited and wore it the rest of the day. she kept telling me how cute i was, and i said yeah , i do look pretty cute and she said yeah i'd "make love to you". i looked at her and said, what? and she repeated herself..i said......"" but from her close friends i find out that she has never been with a girl so i think she's shy. also we've had open discussions about it. not necessarily to each other, but in general. she told me she wanted to do it, i said me too, and we both agreed it would have to be with someone we trusted. so i think she wants to, but maybe she doesn't know how? i even said hey next saturday i'm free, and she says yeah but what if i freeze up if you try to touch me? i didn't know what to say, and we just kinda changed the subject. i don't know what to do! it's confusing. let's put it this way, i'm bi, i've had boyfriends before , and if she were a man , we'd already be bf and gf or at least together by now. this is a whole new challenge for me, i don't know what to do to kind of get things going. i am not trying to rush, but i want to move things, at least a little. heck, i'd be happy with a kiss from her pouty angelina jolie like features. help guys!

Hey. First up, I'd like to welcome you to enotalone on behalf of everyone. I'm sure u've taken a nice step towards finding support and advice from many people of various ages from around the world which will be around for a while.

 

Isn't life all about takin chances? you shouldn't think about things, just do it because you know, chances are you'll never be able to predict the future. But life's just too short, screw thinkin twice.

 

What if he/she's just feelin what u're feelin, someone's gotta spill it out sonner or later, sure u might screw ur friendship ova for a while but at least he'll kno and u might get a chance in the future. Like me, I was in the same situation and now me and my really good friend's togetha.

 

So what if u do screw up the friendship, if you're so close already, it'll just take some time before you're back 2 ur old friend style again because like it's virtually impossible to drift away from best friends unless you don't do anything about it.

 

I think it's just you thinkin too much and worrying about things before they surpass but I suppose, sometimes people like to be prepared even though there's just way too many possiblities lol "ooh.. the possibilities" - some sorta toy ad catchphrase. Anyway, right back to this, even if u do worry, somethin else you might not b prepared for might occur, then wouldn't it have been a waste of time?

 

I think you should tell, coz you know it's definitely the best way i reckon. Because that way you wouldn't waste your time, if she says no, u'll know what she feels sooner and plus, even if she says no, at least she knows you like her and now so she could reconsider.

 

Don't think twice. Go for it. Like I said, life's way too short once you get down to it.
