Shiranai
not true, anyone that tell you otherwise is an idiot. at best it's a few scraps of extra protein that you could just get from 1/100 of an egg. Link to comment
Belgian girl
yes I wanted to say in the case someone would 'eat' it.. didn't expect that answer though Link to comment
Suesser Tod
What I'll say will sound funny but... It's just a lie men came up with so women would be less reluctant to eat it. This myth has had several variations, hundreds of years ago it was said that semen in your vagina would keep you healthy and would even solve some mental issues (as some mental issues were found to be related to the lack of semen). Back then the reason was that sex had to be reproductive. So, its just a lie. You'll get more protein by sucking your own finger. Link to comment

(please don't think I'm oversexed or something, have no experience at all if you consume healthy semen it gives you a small protein boost.............thats all Link to comment
Dako
If a man tells you that, just tell him men need more protein than women. Bon Apetit! Link to comment
Belgian girl
hehe, I had to laugh loud Thnx again for the info Suesser Tod.. guess.. it was about the same guy as my other threads Link to comment
akazie
link removed Another recent study found that women who gave their men oral sex, and swallowed, had a lower risk of preeclampsia, the dangerously high blood pressure that sometimes accompanies pregnancy. Link to comment
Suesser Tod
Taken out of context it loses credibility... There have been other studies showing that sex lowers blood pressure, and might even protect against strokes because of its stress-relieving ability. Just the mere fact that having sex, not swallowing semen, lowers blood pressure can make the results of the "swallowing" study questionable. And there is this piece, right at the beggining of the article: There is one caveat, though. “We do not have good data to show a direct connection [to all-around good health]," says Jennifer Bass, the head of information services at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction in Bloomington, Ind. "We know that healthier people have more sexual activity. But we do not know which comes first. Does the good health make you more willing to have sex, or does the sex have a positive impact?” So that should give you an idea of how credible the results are. I think that if someone puts enough time into it, they can prove that semen causes cancer in California... Of course no male would be stup¡d enough to do that. Link to comment
notsomuch
Shocking isn't it? Something that tastes that bad surely must be good for you. Link to comment
Aurian
WAsn`t there some study that showed sperm had a mood-boosting effect on women? Link to comment
Dako
That would be an interesting double-blind clinical study. I imagine shot glasses with placebo and Spunk Classic. Link to comment
Belgian girl
I've just planned not to try (but b/c I'm very afraid of diseases I even don't fully trust friends if they say I can't get anything (or in context by having sex)). I know I'm probably overconcerned but I can't stop thinking about the chance a condom is breaking or gliding off even if they have never had this happened and such a little chance and they say they don't have anything.. so I have no idea to get a compromise or something I preferred them to take a bloodtest but then they think there's no reason for doing that and I agree but I would like to know it for sure Link to comment
Dako
I took a blood test for my girlfriend's peace of mind. I care. Link to comment
Belgian girl
but I guess the difference is this guy (a friend) would like to have sex without relationship so I can understand perhaps less reason to take a test (when he believes nothing has failed before) but even then I don't fully understand what's the 'big deal' by taking a test, I mean I guess it's not expensive and the results are within a few days..
