How do approach this woman

I work at this bank as a consultant for the next month or so. I work upstairs, but to enter and leave the building, I see this attractive woman at one of the "loan officer" type desks in the lobby. Our eyes met a few times, but I don't know if that's just because she was just curious to see who was looking - it wasn't a "our eyes just met" moment or anything.

 

I'd like to approach her, but there are always co-workers and customers around, which makes it especially awkward. I need a nice, original way to talk to her or to get her attention without alerting the whole department where she works.

 

Any suggestions?

may not work for you but i could make it work, it just has too come accross as funny if you can make her smile you got her, if it dosent then it'll come accross as this man is creepy and i think i need too call the police on him.

well, okay. u want to be smooth. if she is a loan officer say something like 'making us some money?' or 'stealing people's money?'. she will probably giggle. just talk to the girl. make some general work comment. it opens the door. maybe she is thinking of a way to talk to you.

I don't know. These approaches are very direct, could work well and indicate confidence, or she may be put off. I think the general idea of saying hi and striking up small talk is a good one though.

Just be friendly. Its hard to approach a girl...but if you like her you should do it.

I say next time you pass by and she looks at you shoot a smile at her. A smile will brighten anyone's day. You can also throw in a hello or give her a little wave. She will surely notice this as you've never even spoken to her.

do this...sounds ridiculous. but do a broadway studio type smile. use ur hands and drawn out smile. it looks silly, but she won't forget it.
