No its not bad, its only bad if you are brushing the issues that you two are arguing about under the mat. However a pup gives you a common love and outlet. Our family was mad about our pug, it was the best thing we ever got for our family, we all had a common love for this pug and came together over him.

I am not having money problems my boyfriend was...I have money I have had a steady job for the past 10 years...We were fighting about me having to pay alot and not being able to go out, but he recently got a good paying job and is carrying our weight together.....so maybe that is also a factor. Well me and my boyfriend have been arguing alot, I have anxiety and I am constantly paranoid. But since I got my new pup I have calmed down, and we are getting along well. Is this good? I love the way things are...

Well the dog won't fix anything in your relationship except maybe temporarily, but animals DO lower our stress and anxiety levels so in that regard it probably has you more relaxed than you were prior.

Everytime I get high strung and high key and am interacting with my dog I feel the tension lower. PEts do that for many us who are animal lovers.

Your b/f getting a job probably has a great deal to do with it too. Money problems will stress a person out BIG TIME. It is way up at the top as one of life's biggest stressors, money that is.

TONS of elderly people get to have dogs to keep them company. There is NOTHING wrong with a little bow wow chica bow wow love. Enjoy this little pup. He will be there long after any no good men will. ;-) or She. I'm happy for you.

I think I know what you're talking about.

Maybe it's that your puppy is helping you with your paranoia. That is, he is minimizing its effect on you. If that's the case, then good for you!

Puppies are somewhat like babies in the sense that they make you feel needed.
