can any one offer some words of hope to a broken down soul?

If you told us why you were upset, we could offer you much better advice, but like they say, there is nowhere to go from the bottom but up, right?

 

"Nobody cares if you're miserable... so you might as well be happy."

 

^^Obviously that's not true, we care, but thinking about that always gives me some motivation anyway.

That's what someone said to me when I had a broken down soul and I didn't expect anything anyone said to be any help at all... I don't know why that helped but if it applies to your situation, I hope it helps you

I brought a journal for my bf for his b-day. He's not always in a happy place and alot of times I can't help him. Anyway there was a proverb on it that read:
