tmp0620
Just curious... Girls and women on Enotalone have responded to posts about what makes guys attractive, and an answer that shows up over and over again is eyes. What I'm wondering is what, exactly, makes one set of eyes more attractive than another... What is it other than just the color? Link to comment

MadGenius
Darn my eyes are busted up. My glasses are so thick that my eyes look tiny, and I can't even drive legally. Haha. Maybe my glasses will magnify the spirit. Link to comment
nuttybuddy
haha... actually, i find eyes attractive too but my bf has one eye bigger than the other.... so i'm not really attracted to his eyes. what draws me to my bf is his gentleness. as far as unequal sized eyes... look at paris hilton! do people actually think that she's pretty? I think her figure is slim and nice, but her face is not pretty and it's probably because of the eyes. Link to comment

Like a bulging eye? Link to comment

nuttybuddy
I didn't mean bulging eye... nooo.. I meant size. Like Paris Hilton's eyes. She squints a little with one eye... It makes that squinting eye look smaller than her normal sized eye. Ya know they say that beauty is marked by how symmetrical your face is. The more symmetrical it is, the more beautiful. I've said some regrettable things to my bf... saying his face wasn't symmetrical. Now I think he has a complex and thinks that he's ugly. I never said he was ugly. And I assure him that I still think he's cute. But it's really weird... I see his face in the mirror and he looks like a TOTALLY different person. I stare at his face soooooooo long in the mirror because it's just unrecognizable compared to the face that I'm used to when I just look at him from head on. I wonder how Paris Hilton looks in a mirror image..... Link to comment

Tethys
Hm, it's "all in the eyes," right? I would not put "eyes" up there on what I find attractive, but I think you can read a lot while looking into another's eyes. My boyfriend, for instance, loves my eyes. And he has told me that since the first date. (I have green eyes.) What's funny about that is it can be influential, I think, when dealing with an SO if you are attracted to or "love" their eyes -- and I suppose I have to tell this story just because it's both sweet and funny and tangentially relevant... My boyfriend and I were very angry with one another one night, and parted on bad ways. We went to breakfast together anyway, but first stopped at a store to buy some drinks. We barely spoke to one another. I picked out my water, went over to him while he was getting out a juice, and looked up at him with my big green eyes. He looked down at me with his angry, stony expression, and then I saw his face soften, and he suddenly kissed me, taking me by surprise. I hugged him and told him I loved him, and he said he just couldn't look at me in my eyes and stay mad at me. He just couldn't. So, either this is saying something about what you can see in another person's eyes, or it's just an excuse for me to relay a sappy story. You decide. Link to comment
Raiden
People have always told me I have nice eyes. But no one has told me in years, however. I miss the compliments. Is it possible for your eyes to get uglier with time? Link to comment
shyguy1
My eyes are one of the few things I've ever been complemented on. My lips have been complemented on a couple times as well, Can't really think of much beyond that unfortunately. I got an email from a friend who moved away on myspace a few months back. I was complaining about my current situation and posted a bulletin about just that (yes it's true kids, this isn't the only place I've mastered the art of self loathing) and basically in the message she said that I'm anything but ugly... that she used to in fact have a crush on me and felt that she wasn't in my league. She said and I quote "it's something about your eyes, they tend to be very expressive" That was the most recent time my eyes were complemented. Not taking into account how silly it is for anyone to think they aren't in my league.... Using Major League Baseball as a basis... I would be single A at best, it's still nice to get a compliment every now and then. Link to comment

I don't have a clue about men's eyes but I got some compliments about my eyes along the years (more when I was a teenager, guess I growing old It's not only the eyes I've heard. It's also your eyebrows and eyelashes that do the trick.
