Speed Dating

Has anyone done this before, what's it like? and did you go with someone or on your own?

 

i am considering going speed dating but i want to know what people think first.

As much as I've seen it seems to me like a waste of time...

I did this years ago. I went with a girl friend of mine. We had fun, but neither of us had any expectations. you could tell some people were on a serious agenda, I think those people were setting themselves up for dissappointment. However if you go in to it with a good mind set then it could be fun. I had a couple dates come out of it, but nothing I was interested in long term. Still fun though.
