Nearly 5 months NC, found out somethings tonight

Hey all,

Nearlt 5 months of NC..was doing great lately. I mean really great! I was still thinking about her but i wasn't dwelling on things. I met a few girls the over the last few weeks, nothing i'm intersted in pursuing..but started to feel like myself again...

Until last night, i feel like i'm back to square 1 !

Was on myspace, through a friend of a friend i saw my ex's profile..she never used to have one, so was a surprise! I tried not to look..but i did, i knew i'd probably regret it, but i guess i'm just stupid!

I read her comments, from a guy she used to work with. Although her profile and his state they're both single..the word LOVE YOU was mentioned..by her. She also said a few things, wont go into specific's i'm paranoid! But things she used to say to me....dosen't feel good.

I kinda feel like i did months ago, i've had no closure and i suppose these things are going to happen for sometime.

The thought of her actually being with someone else, i'm OK with. The thought of her being in LOVE with someone else, tears me a part. I was the first guy she loved...she didn't fall in love easy. I didn't really see this coming yet. I can deal with 'seeing' people, but not this.

I was going to get in touch to give her some things back, can't face it now.

Any advice? On anything?

Hey John

It is totally amazing just how many people fall into the trap that you have. Going and checking out your ex on Myspace/Facebook might seem fairly innocent but when you go sniffing about, you have to be prepared that you might end up finding something out that hurts you.

You looked, and got bitten. Don't do it again. Get back to proper NC and work on YOU.

You were on myspace and saw something you shouldn't have looked at.

Think of it this way.

My friend put this in an odd way but it actually makes sense and is rather funny in a kind of twisted way: "Your ex's myspace/facebook profile is like a coffin that was buried a long time ago. I don't care how much you want to look, what's in that coffin isn't something you want to see. If you open the coffin, you'll see the equilavent of a maggot infested corpse. If you are foolish enough to open the coffin (look at the profile) don't hope to see anything that will make you feel better." Further allusions can be made towards what the 'body' smells/tastes like but just take my word for it...DON'T OPEN THE COFFIN..ERR...MYSPACE/FACEBOOK PROFILE OF AN EX.
