It's just scary all around. Life is. At least for me. But I will go on.

Yes I get that bit as well ..I had a hospital appointment last Friday and Ems was supposed to come with me ..at the last moment I told her she couldn't come , I was to scared to put her at risk , it didn't feel fair to drag her into that environment just to calm my nerves .

It is scary , I am on your side about it all believe me . I saw somewhere you have now moved in with family ...thank God for that bolt , it actually makes me feel peace for you to not be sat there day after day on your own . Happy for you .

I never thought my life would ever get to a point where I was sweat induced shopping on Amazon, clicking buttons like a mad women and racing to be able to purchase a canister of sanitizing wipes before they disappeared off the site again, but yes, it's come to that.

 

I can't tell you the 'win' you feel though when you get the confirmation email, lol. Ack!

I remember the day I finally got a pkt of anti bac wipes from the Sainsburys ....I heard myself shouting * yes , yes finally * and then realised , oh crap I did that out loud , anyway this other women in the aisle turned and said * I feel like you , I can't believe it * hahaha

I am sitting here waiting for the second wave to start here as well. I know it's coming, it's only a matter of time.

People are no longer singing off their balconies or clapping for the NHS are they? They have become selfish, fed up, dangerous, and so on. Even with the guidelines, people are fighting about it, saying this whole thing is a hoax.

 

Sigh, I pray that it won't get bad, but I fear it might.

Oh I did that the other day , I had spent a long time putting something together for someone I hadn't spoken to for a long time ...lost it all hahahah arghhhh

Yes what you have written chilled me to the bone ,... what a good description of this whole thing ...the anticipation of what people are going to do ...we have full on protests here in London of people refusing to wear masks etc , saying their rights have been taken etc etc and London is one of our main hot spots and this will have not helped matters , so I can see them getting locked down next . People are scared , people are angry , people don't believe ....people are doing what the heck they like ...I don't like it sherry xx

Bolt , just try and ease up with the temp taking ...I know this is coming for a place of utter fear and panic . Our body temp changes all the time and all it will take is one little change and your head is going to be in bits . You know yourself well enough I believe to know in reality if your temp has gone up . You have got the summer /winter coming sniffles by the sound of it , or even hayfever . In the uk right now we have the kids going back to school sniffles ( well that's what I call it ) myself and daughter have both got sinus/hayfever coughs and sniffles .

You are feeding your anxiety , you know I suffer with anxiety too , so this is coming from a good place ok .

What's annoying me? When someone is in a bad mood and takes it out on someone else and make them feel like crap. It's not okay!

Oh how true ....or ....pissed up and decides to make up a new profile and troll you ..obviously speaking from personal experience . Put the bottle down and front me yourself *sigh

Things do get worse unfortunately, I think we are experiencing the second wave, many colleagues are positive and they are pretty young and healthy.

Thankyou darling and I hope you are staying safe and well ...yes I do believe we are smack bang in the middle of the second wave as well . The R rate is rising at alarming speed . One thing that puzzles me though ....we had all the protests , not as violent or as bad as the poor folk in the US granted , but we still had them , then all the Brighton beach etc stuff in the summer and people not caring a jot about it .....but nothing happened !!! That is when I thought it would climb back up . Anyway hope your colleagues come out of this ok . Take care of yourself .

oh vic ...hugs love ...I wish I could buy a little island , get us all tested haha obviously then all hide out there till it is over . I am going to have to stop watching , my anxiety is through the roof , they have stuck me back on an asthma pump cos they can't decide if it is anxiety or asthma , either way I can't breathe at times ...I suspect it is anxiety , feeling like my heart is beating in my throat , can't catch a breath and that feeling in the pit of your stomach

Right? People have gone right nuts.

Even people in the UK expected it to be stricter then this haha Scotland and Wales have stricter rules and we are all on big Island .

Yes this scan will determine which brain surgery I need , after this I will go before a panel of a neuro surgeon , a neurologist and a maxi facial consultant on the 9th October , then the op will come after that . Was just shy of 5000 cases today! Half these restrictions aren't new, like table service only, have been required to wear masks in work and shops for a while, and outside workers who can work from home should etc.

Yeah it is ridiculous isn't it ..... in MK the people who work in shops like the saino's for example don't have to wear them , just the customers , so I presumed it meant the staff now have to as well . Ems work in a bar and the table service only is a joke she said , it's all a joke , she has been shouted at by customers not wearing masks because they don't have to ...I hate it for her . Hope our little pooh bear is happy and settled

All bars . restaurants , take aways and pubs have to shut by 10pm

£200 fine for all first offences of not following the rules and go up to 10 thousand for repeat offenders

All taxis , shops have to wear masks

15 people can attend a wedding

everyone who can work at home must work at home

We can only meet in groups of 6 ....( yeah like anyone here is doing that !!! well I am )

Finally got results back, she's positive. None of are showing symptoms as yet, day 9 post exposure now.. 4000 positive tests a day now...

We're don't get tested unless we start showing symptoms. 5 days left in quarantine. No more family cuddling baby for a while, mind you restrictions should be tightening again.. aio likely no seeing family for a while.. babies first Christmas this year, I wonder where we'll be for it...

You are right ..no cuddling her for families , your little nest comes first butterfly darling and I know family just want to love her , they will have to make up for it when all this is over .

Bolt and vic I agree .....I wont forget this ever ...not ever ...... This is not the new normal I hope , I hope this is a moment in time and life will return to our normal ....no fear . just going shopping without being gripped by anxiety , without the panic that someone might stand to close , might touch you , the fear of the people who seemingly don't give a about it .

It is not going away in the UK , we have to travel sometimes over a hundred miles to get a test , 3000 a day of new cases ( I think I got that right but don't take that as gospel )

I have yet to go into a supermarket and NOT just stand and look in horror at what we are reduced to .
