I've been dating this guy for 7 weeks now and he officially asked me to be his girlfriend a few days ago. Before we became official I asked him if he had hooked up with other girls while we'd been seeing each other to see if he wanted an exclusive relationship, and he said he hadn't. But yesterday I found out from a friend that he had hooked up with another girl so I asked him about it and it turned out it happened in the first week that we started seeing each other.
I wouldn't have minded much because we weren't serious in the beginning but what bothers me is that fact that he lied to me. Then he confessed that he had also hooked up with another girl 10 days before he asked me to be his girlfriend. He said he only wanted to be with me now and that it won't happen again because we're official and that the reason he didn't tell me before was because he was afraid of scaring me off when he wasn't sure where we were going. I said I would let it go this one time only, but since then I've been having trouble with knowing if I can trust him. Since he's in a fraternity he's around willing girls all the time...
Can I trust him? Can guys of his behavior really change for a girl?
