On to day 2. Told her off Thursday afternoon, so yesterday was the first full day of NC!!!! I'm so proud of myself that, when she was telling me that her life is so confusing right now, I was able to tell her, "Well, you always HAD me by your side, that was something you could always count on. But now, you made your choice, have your new boyfriend, have your friends, you can go to them about things going on in your life. I want nothing to do with it." After 3 years, and and the last 9 mo. living together, she developed GIGS for a co-worker that happens to be our neighbors.

Back to day 1. I found out this past weekend that she cheated on me a few days before the breakup, and I lost it. It's been a terrible, terrible 72 hours.

Thanks. You're absolutely right... it'll only strengthen my motivation to let her go and not pull this same mistake.

Starting over. Failed and went through her Myspace, to find a guy posted that "she's not single, she's in a relationship!" I lost it.

Day 5 Doing much better... thoughts of her aren't creeping into my mind nearly as much. The fact that she's talking to some other guy isn't bothering me as much, either.

Day 4!!! Well, I think this is day 4... my ex texted me last night to make sure I was ok and not in the Metro crash in DC yesterday, so I replied telling her I was ok. Does this still count as day 4?

Day 3 ain't got nothing on me! TennesseeGirl, I miss her, still love her, still long for the day where I can crawl into bed with her and fall asleep with her in my arms again. But until that day, if it ever happens, I will continue with my life and grow from this experience!

Made it through day 2! Starting to feel really good about this!

Been single for 1 month and 3 days. Have been LC for most of the time. Tonight will mark the start of NC!!!
