I think all this is very common in love/friendship relations.We often fall in love with our friends coz they r the ones who really understand us and support us.Believe me,Im going through the same situation right now except that Im the girl and I have rejected the one who loves me only becoz I was scared.But right now I have developed feelings for him and Im scared again to let him know about them.If this girl u proposed to has cried for u or talks about her ex in front of u,then I think she's interested in you too coz she's out to make u jealous and see ur expressions.She's just confused coz it takes time to change tracks from a good friend to being a couple.I think u shud go for it again if she is not seeing anyone else right now coz all girls have same kind of thinking,she sees what a guy can do for her.....she will never come back to u....but probably she's waiting for u to come to her again.All the best!

I think the idea of arranged marriage is good but when u have the chance of choosing your own life partner then u could go for it coz believe me there are some places in this world where the liberty of choosing your own life partner is not given to the girl or guy.You shud consider urself lucky and make the right choice!
