"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies" -Andy Dufresne After the breakup i would read this board every day for hours looking for some glimmer of hope that she would come back to me. It's been 5 months since the breakup/complete NC and the fact that i haven't been on this board in months is a success to me. Hope is a wonderful thing, but what i hope you will all realize one day is that there are better things to hope for. Good luck with the struggle and the pain. I've been there, hit rock bottom, thought the most unimaginable thoughts, and i promise you better days lie ahead. Just give it a little time god bless

For me, not contacting her is the easy part. I don't have any urges to reach out to her, but i do have tons of trouble getting rid of all the great memories...
