My husband is currently overseas, and while playing soccer, he twisted his knee, and hurt his meniscus. I'm not sure how bad it is yet, but he says that they're talking about surgery. I need to know what to do to help him, and how to support him after the surgery. PLEASE HELP ME~!~

Ok, I know what you're going through. I waited a year and a half before making love with my boyfriend. It was when I visited him at his airbase, and we watched a movie, and started fooling around. Then he put on a CD, and we made love. The only change I can think of is it made us closer. But we still act the same and everything. I can't explain how I knew I was ready, I just was. After finally deciding on a career I'm happy with and know that I can do, the only thing I need now is a good college. Ok, I'm only a Junior in high school, and I know I have a lot of time to think about this, but I'd like to get it over with. I want to be a Teen Mentor, I know how hard it can be to be a teenager, and that some need a good role model, so I think this would be appropriate. Mind you, I don't want to be a Therapist, just a mentor. So anyways, does anyone know a good college for Teen Mentors to study at? I'd really appriciate the help. Ok, my guy and I have been dating for 16 months, he is 19 and in the Air Force, and I'm 16 and stuck 1300 miles away from him. His ex girlfriend cheated on him, and when he came home on leave, they got to talking and he realized he still has feelings for her. He told me all of this last night, and then told me not to worry because he will always love me more than her. Then I asked him if he was having doubts about us, he gave me a definant NEVER, but part of me is still worried. I know that if this doesn't work out it wasn't meant to, so I shouldn't be too worried. but he and I are so close, and i would be totally crushed if this didn't work. Is any of this normal? I'm thinking this is just the strain of the long distance thing, or maybe he is just having trouble seeing she was his first serious realtionship. Can anyone help me? God it feels good to vent.

Hey Colls Join the club~!~ LOL. My bf and I have been going out for over a year, and have been in a long distance relationship for 7 of the 13 months. He is in the Air Force, so I hardly ever see him. Always tell him you love him, and talk to him as much as possible. Send him a candle or incense, and have the same one. Designate a time and length to lit them everynight so you know exactly when the other person is thinking of you. Give gifts, like hersey's kisses in a jar, have some of them have a reason why you love him, let him find them. Just simple things like that. Hope I helped~!~
