But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Justin, I do undersand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something.

2 Weeks ago I applied to Forever 21 ( a trendy store that sells stuff to teenage girls)

1 Week ago I got back to them filed all the necessary paperwork (W2, privacy, aggreements, etc) and they Xerox my Social Security and Driver's License and said they'll call me about a schedule. They even gave me a $9.5/hr salary.

It's been a whole week and they haven't gotten back to me about a schedule yet. I have called them before and all they said is that they'll get back to me.

What's gives? Was I even hired?

The only issue I see is...when/if you break up, it's going to be awkward because you'll be in each other's life even if you want to be apart.

Hell yeah! Everyone can totally relate to what you just said. We all want to feel like we belong. But sometimes we have doubts about ourselves and that's when it goes down hill.
