  1. I know that it's not always convenient, but one thing that sleep therapists always tell their insomniac patients is to make sure they don't have a TV, computer or any exercise equipment in the bedroom. It also helps to turn the clock around when you are trying to fall asleep. The bedroom should be a place for sleep only. When the place you sleep is full of leisure activities, people remain too stimulated and tend to stay up too late.
  2. The whole point is that there is NO test for HPV for men. The only strains that can be detected are the strains that produce genital warts and these don't cause cervical cancer. A man can't tell you he has a dangerous strain because there is no test for it.
  3. In my last LTR we actually used to watch each other do it. It was exciting. We were very open about it and both knew that each other did it regularly. He used to love it when I'd call him before I was about to or when he was at work. It really got the oven fired up.
  4. I've only known one man who didn't admit to masturbating and he was a very highly religious whacky guy. I still think he did does it. Even when I'm in a relationship, I still masturbate. Just about everyone does it, but not everyone cares to admit, or talk about it.
  5. I wouldn't do it during my period, but everyone has their own comfort level. A dark coloured towel or in the shower is recommended. Make sure you tell your partner first, otherwise they might be up for something they don't want to do.
  6. I don't feel that I've ever been used for sex. There have been a couple of times where I probably shouldn't have had sex, but I refuse to label myself as a victim. For me it's an act between two consenting adults. If I thought for one minute that I thought I was going to be upset by being "used", I wouldn't do it. I take responsibilty for my own actions. I don't expect anyone to fall head over heels in love with me for having sex with them. That's a crucial mistake that too many women make.
  7. Certainly not that place anymore...that's for sure *reminiscing*.
  8. I used to get drunk and naked all the time...no big deal. I had a group of friends that never got caught up in the embarrassment of nudity. Nothing like being your birthday suit.
  9. I agree with the notion that is does exploit women, but I don't think that's the reason why most women don't like it. There are a range of reasons from jealousy to disgust and everything in between. I don't have a problem with porn as something that I and/or a partner can enjoy, but there are definitely some issues with exploitation that I don't like.
  10. I agree with Dilly. I've been amazed at the kind of techniques people try to use when disuading someone from suicide on this and other forums. It's just adding salt to the wounds. I know if I wanted to kill myself and people were telling me my problems weren't that bad, or that I was selfish, I'd want to do it even more. If things could be worse than what they were at that current point in time, then the future would be looking pretty bleak. I think the only thing a non-professional can do is explain that things will get better and let them know that you are always there to talk. Then they should push them in the right direction for appropriate guidance.
  11. Jeez, you're not wrong. I'm so tired of everyone having their own personalized psychological illness. I know they exist, but not everyone has to have one.
  12. I'm so sorry this has happened to your cat. I used to work at a vet's office and I had to deal with this sort of thing all the time. It's truly heartbreaking for the pet owners. What you and your family need to do is assess your cat's current condition. If he is really painful and can't feed or go to the toilet himself, then I would recommend having him put to sleep. If he still has some life in him and seems happy most of the time, then I'd let him stay a little longer. It's a very difficult decision to make, but you should do what is right for your cat.
  13. *People that constantly rub their feet together, or rub their feet to my feet. It makes my foot want to make contact with their groin.
  14. When I was with my ex it was just the pill, but with casual partners I always use condoms aswell. I wish I could just get an IUD, but I get acne and an incredibly high sex drive when I'm not on the pill, which tends to lead to more casual partners. My doctor said "no way".
  15. *People who hum *Stinky people *People who eat stinky food *Drunk talk *People who have to talk on their phone 24/7- I don't even take mine out with me anymore *People who take forever on the toilet because they have to read an entire magazine. It just goes on like this...
  16. The last guy I was with was really into it. He loved to be spanked and dominated. I found this kind of creepy. I didn't enjoy it at all. I much prefer to be the one who gets dominated, although I don't like spanking. Needless to say, it didn't work out between us. He was also a toe sucker...yuuuuck.
  17. I think it was released about 6 months ago.
  18. When it ended with my ex I talked about him non-stop. I was completely over him, but I had been with him for most of my teenage years. He was involved in every part of my life. When my friends started to ignore because I kept talking about it, I stopped. I know they don't want to hear about it. If they only broke up recently then he's probably still on her mind. It will pass, hopefully.
  19. I love having my bottom lip bitten. The first guy that ever did that to me had me wrapped around his finger.
  20. I agree. In many countries it's mostly being paid for by the governement and patients are only expected to pay a small amount. In the US, it's being decided state by state. I know some states are expecting to make the shot mandatory for 6th graders by 2009. Other than that, women will be expected to pay the full amount. Unfortunately, that's just one of many downsides to US healthcare.
