  1. C'mon guys, do we have to verbalize everything we feel? Fruit-smoothie, I don't make a habit of making statements in front of my SO like that and neither does he. It is a maturity, (or lack thereof) thing. I would be slightly interested in seeing Jen's gazabos myself (curiosity). Ignore his comment.
  2. I agree that men are more "visual". I do not agree that a "study" is the reason for the disparity. I am not as worldly as some who patrol this forum. So I will say that, in closing for me anyway, it is a mans world. I can justify that statement, but I will bet that most of you who read that sentence won't agree with my here in writing, but will agree privately. This has been true since the beginning of time, I guess some can ingnore this big pink elephant, but I have a hard time doing that.
  3. I actually made a point to look at cosmo and maxim. O.k. The cosmo issue did have guys in there, with no shirt...but, the maxim issue was photographed/touched up better, and showed top to bottom, the actress was ALMOST naked...the cosmo pic was of a guy sitting in a bed, just with his shirt off. WHOOPIE! I am not splitting hairs, o.k. well maybe a little. To the guys: There is no equality here. There is so much more available to the men. All the time. Every day, everywhere. When the male strip show comes to town, (which is only once per year where I live) it is our only opportunity to see what you men get to see 24-7. All the women on here, by the sheer volume of the women posting on subjects like this...Don't you guys get the impression that we are really tired of the disparity? How is it possible that WE ARE ALL INSECURE? Mathmatically improbable. I came from the world of work that catered to mens fantasies and fetishes. My point I am trying to make, without ticking off too many people, is that a lot of us gals have an objection to the disparity. We aren't happy about it, we complain, can any of you folks who stand to pee understand how you would feel if the world truly catered to womens fantasies and urges, to the greater degree that you enjoy? There are more women on the planet than men. Would someone of intelligence please explain for me how, if we dominate the population, this is true? I know the answer to that question.
  4. Whatever happened to Popular Mechanics? Or Popular Science? Or Motor Trend? or Field and Stream? I grew up camping, hunting, fishing, farming, these were the mags that the men I knew read. Sorry, to some of you who would like to think that all guys read porn and mens girlie mags. There has been some advertising as of late to the effect that the male species isn't interested in these hobbies anymore. This is off from the posters question, but aince we are on the subject, I am curious.
  5. Maxim is not comparable to a porno mag, IMO. Basic cable shows pretty much the same thing. The cosmo/maxim analogy is a good one...although I don't remember cosmo having much in the way of scantilly clad men like maxim has scantilly clad women....IMO these mags are all trashy, mostly ads and stuff. I would like to add that porn..hard core is NOT the same as these magazines. Geez, if that were what my old man wanted to look at INSTEAD of the really dirty depraved stuff, I would be doing handsprings (that is if I could still DO handsprings LOL). Ladies. lets start a mission. Lets have a PORN FREE DAY LOL. Like arbor day, or flag day. We could start a movement! Get on the Today show, really get our message out! We could lobby at all the supermarkets LOL! Get President ding a ling to make it a national holiday! YAY! We could declare small breasts and big ankles sexy! Maybe they would make a postage stamp we could sell as a fund raiser! Now, Mods, I am not flaming. I also don't agree that every time a gal on here has a problem with the one they love looking at other sexy women that they are automatically insecure. That word is too easy to use to dismiss someones feelings, and that is what we should care about, isn't it? I am not in the business of hurting feelings. I don't like having mine hurt, I can't blame anyone else for wanting the same.
  6. When I was a dancer, I didn't want my old man at the club, either. I don't follow HIM to work and stand over him, so why should he be able to do that to me and hurt my chances of making money? He gave me an ultimatum of quitting my six figure job! He was insecure about what I did for a living, and I was doing it for 2 years before I met him. He is actually younger than I am by 3 years...I was working in a club b-4 he was even legal to drink! I quit the job because it hurt him to see the big pile of $ I brought home. He wanted to marry me, and I loved him dearly and didn't want to lose him. And this is all true..not a fabrication to make my "argument". I do not want this thread to go the way of the last one where CERTAIN people were present and posting their opinion. But...I need to get this off my chest: The person on here who is doing most of the posting is a huge hippocrite, period. This person sounds like he/she has rules that only apply to him/her, and changes them to suit his/her argument. I do not like to attack anyone for how they feel, period. It is their life, not mine, and I will always state how I feel, but I don't expect the world to think the way I do. I lived this life (stripping) for 7 years. I did it because it paid better than waitressing and working in the factory. It also paid for my college tuition and was NEVER something I was going to stick with. For the women who have a problem with their lover/husband/boyfriend going to these places: I don't blame you. I know it makes you feel bad. No one likes to feel bad. Simple. My husband LOVED the idea of dating me (stripper me) and HATED the idea of MARRYING the "stripper me". I made the choice to get out, and I am glad I did. I would do anything for this guy, and I proved it by quitting the job so he wouldn't have a broken heart over it.
  7. Tired man I am confused. You say after one strike, and you kick someone to the curb. (I give someone one chance, and then I drop them I think is what you typed.) (I don't know how to do the quote thing, and I am too lazy to figure it out right now) On your last post, you effuse "communication and compromise"? This is a HOT button issue, for sure. A mature, self assured Man or Woman realizes that they can't always have their way. There is a sayng somewhere about a time for putting away childish toys, or something to that effect. I assume that one who has a "one and done" outlook is going to have a very difficult time keeping friends, lovers...Sometimes we need to grow up, share, be honest in order to have a relationship that lasts.
  8. Geesh. Women have a lot of competition in this country...TV, magazines, music....etc... I hope the ppl on here who have a hard time grasping why someone feels a certain way or the other can understand this: No female likes to feel un-attractive (as I am sure, most guys). It is impossible for someone who loves/cares for/in love with etc. someone else to NOT be hurt, even a little at the prospect of the PERSON THEY CARE about fantasizing/leering/smiling/applauding a naked/nearly naked/scantilly dressed/very sexy man of woman, who is not them. How is that so hard to grasp? Even the most secure/strong/self assured people prefer their lover/significant other to be "exclusive" for them. What is the dif. on the MOTIVATION for going/doing? Payback, curiosity, so what? Feeling bad about the prospect of the person you love getting "satisfaction" from someone other than you does not make you insecure.
  9. I'll tell you the "womanly" stuff we do for you during dates: 1) Listen intently about (insert one here) current "sports" stuff (football, baseball, basketball) who is winning, who is losing, who signed, yada yada (Now I love some sports, I am the exception to this rule) and pretend we care and are even listening. 2) Listen to you brag about that big contract, new deal, how you aced this guy in a sales meeting, yada yada 3) Listen to how you "aced" this guy on the golf course, or batting range, or pool table, yada yada 4) Listen to you brag about your bike/car/boat/jet ski, how fast you go, yada, yada. 5) Compliment you on that cologne you took a bath in. 6) Compliment you on your driving, ability to order wine. 7) Allow you to make a spectacle of yourself (and us) if your buddies are around and you want to show us off. I have more....anyways, there is a huge disparity between compensation for men and women in the same jobs,. Don't sit there, type away about how equal it is, you are not a woman, quote news releases if you feel the need. I am living proof of that "disparity". I have a man's job, do it better than the men (or so I am told) and I make approx. 30% less. Can we call this a draw? I bet you I can dig big holes WAY faster than you can!!!!!
  10. My little brother is married to a millionaire. She has an awesome, hi profile job, and he stays home to take care of their 3 yr old. My brother has always wanted to be a house husband...no chit. He would rather fix up their old colonial and take care of his son than work, which he doesn't have to. Their son is in pre-school, so he has a lot of time on his hands. He's gotten kinda fat, but other wise I have never seen him so happy! And she has the "reins" in the relationship, which is good because he is a tad lazy and not as pragmatic as his wife. My husband and 3 brothers in law really jaw about his situation, they kinda make fun of him, but secretly they all envy him. And I don't think he feels weird at all. He is a fantastic dad, very close with his little guy, and I love to see them together. (My brother and I are 12 years apart). To stay at home requires the utmost personal sacrifice. And patience. Traditionally women have been the ones responsible for making a house a "home". I wonder if Rizz...and tiredman are fortunate enought to have someone to come home to...that you both have a "home". That, my friends, is something that you cannot "buy". Home for me is the place where I am loved and nurtured. At least that is how I think of it. And yes, women are better at creating that.
  11. Please answer my question: What do you get out of this? What the heck have any women done to make you feel this way? Cause, I just don't get it. And, instead of being mad at you, I would rather get into your head (the one that SUPPOSEDLY does the thinking for you). So? I do not care that you hate marriage. I wish that you found value in the men or women who choose to stay home and do the REALLY un-fulfilling job (at times) of taking care of home and family. So, what gives?
  12. How old are you? Are you an only child? Are you from a middle class family, or did you come from money? Do you have a degree? I am very curious to understand what propels you to type what you do, really. Seriously.
  13. Oh my god your back on here saying the same stuff? With all the same generalizations? Have you have ever had anything deleted? I thought you were in a good relationship and you were happy with your wife/girlfriend? I am sorry you seem to have some hard and fast opinions as do I, but geez, I can blow so many holes into your statements. My thinking is that you are basing this on your personal experiences, because really you are in-acurate. I have had my attitude adjusted severly by reading posts made by men that blew holes I my statements, too. Hence my opening sentence. Dead weight? I work 3 jobs, but, even so, if my only job was to run a household and raise a family, how the heck do you think that makes a woman "dead weight". Based on your grammer you sound fairly educated...until the reader HEARS what your saying, and then, well..... I am getting the impression that you are doing your best to insult us females who like this forum.
  14. I was handed a Barbie Doll, instead of the Tonka Truck I wanted. I am fortunate in that my father was forward thinking and saw I was more interested in working in the shop, and on the farm than my 2 brothers. Dako is right on. I had to really work to get into the field I am in. I have people question why I do what I do. I then say, "Well, why do YOU do what you do"? I made my daughter change her own tires, oil, install a deadbolt in her apt. door, as well as cook, clean, sew. I believe there is a predisposition to teaching "technical" stuff to the boys, and "social" stuff to the girls.
  15. Tommy, Yes I have some skeletons. I am not proud of a lot of things I have done. As you see here this is a public forum made up of people who are asking questions, hoping for answers. I feel sorry for ANYONE who needs to pay a hooker to get some satisfaction from his life. I was not a prostitute, but I worked in a business that catered to men's "needs" and I did it to take money from them, period. And the taking money part, I was a professional all day long..... Were not a bunch of opinionated jerks here. Well, maybe I am LOL. When your not too steamed up read back over what has been typed here. My wish for you is that you can turn your life around, and develop the ability to have an actual, real, caring relationship with a woman. One that does not require cash, check or charge. Preferably with the woman you married and who bore your children. Don't repeat that crappy homelife you experienced as a kid. It will hurt your children for the rest of their lives.
  16. I would rather be "admired" by my peers for something like being a good worker/friend/car mechanic/ something other than being admired because your "trophy prostitute" is "hot". It proves that money can buy many things. Too bad you have to pay someone to get what you need. My hope for you is that you can find happiness in a way that won't destroy your family.
  17. Wow. I don't posess the ability to be accepting and politically correct with a response to your "honesty". I just spoke to my husband on the phone so I am fairly certain that he is not you. And I thank god for that. I guess it is a good thing that this forum exists. Tommy boy, you epitomize (for me anyway) EXACTLY the kind of male that I have absolutely no empathy or compassion for. Is this honesty of mine o.k. to type here?
  18. You will find NO ACCEPTANCE on this website of physical realationships with MATURE adults and CHILDREN (teenage). It is not morally right to attempt or pursue a minor for sexual gratification. You seem to be making excuses for your "thoughts". I don't care how mature you may think a 14, 16, or 17 year old is. I am sorry if I offended you. My hopes are that people who pursue the endeavor of trying to have relations with young people GET ARRESTED.
