ok i would hate to make my situation worse but i haven't done this in about 4 or 5 years, so i really don't kno how to go about asking her out on a date. I just don't remember how to do it. Any advice?

Ok I'll kind of brief this story up a bit. A bunch of my friends work at a clothing store called bon-ton and there is this beautiful girl named Tara that works there behind the cosmetics counter. All my friends are clsoe with her and they have been finding out bits of info on her for me over the last like couple months or so. and one of my friends let it slip to her that I like her quite a bit. It didn't bother me. ive gone in there evry night she works and hung around and talked to her and clearly flirted a little here and there. I figured things were going well. So far they are all my friends seem to think I have really good chances of dating her. But she recently put in her 2 weeks notice there and I won't be able to see her again because she is going back to college. Her last day is this thursday and the store just instated some new rule that no one can hang around in the store because me and all my friends go in like 20 minutes before everyone gets out and hangs around so we all can go out for the evening. So basically I have no way of going in and hanging around to talk to her on her last day this thursday so I don't kno i fI should just walk in real quick quick and ask her out or if I should wait in the parking lot. I'm kind of a shy person and it has taken a long time for me to even be on the level of speaking with this girl as much as I speak with her now. I'm pretty open with her about anything and she is to me but I'm not sure if she feels the same way either. I've given a couple hints that I wanted to date like blatant hints. here's one restaurant was closing which I found out was her favorite...I asked her if she would like to go there with me and a few of her friends and my friends. 2 days before I see her and ask her if we are still on for the weekend and she said she already went. A week later I asked her if she would like to come to a party at my place a handful of her friends were going and a lot of my friends were going. I asked her on a monday and she saiud she would most likely be able to go. By wednesday she had made other plans to go to 6 Flags with one of her friends. So I don't even kno if it is even worth asking her out anymore. Anyone have any type of ideas for me? I gotta get this figured out before thursday cause it has just been pretty stressful for the last 2 or 3 months.

Ill post here instead of making a new topic because I can relate to this...I too have a problem like this. I start the convo off good but then I just run out of subject matter. I'm pretty kool I don't have a huge problem talking to girls except for the really hot ones that I like. If it is a girl I don't have feelings for I have no problem striking up a convo, but if it is a girl I wanna start something with then, forget it I won't get past "Hey...whats up?" I don't kno what to do. It's freakin annoying.

Ok here is my dilemma.There is this girl Lyns she goes out with a guy named RJ. They are both friends of mine. I have Lyns in 2 of my classes I text her and talk to her a lot. I like her and stuff and wouldn't mind hooking up with her but she has a bf. What really bugs me is she flirts with me a lot. And I can't help myself I flrit back. it's fun. We do that making fun of each other flirting and stuff. Like if I say something like "Oh your doin that wrong lyns its completely wrong!" she would whack me...in a playful way on the arm or my head. So we were in the computer lab today and she was doing something. I was sitting next to her and i say loud enough so the teacher could hear "Lyns you shouldn't plaguerize it won't get you a goot grade!" She gave me this funny look and whacked me a couple times. I was like "Stop your abusing me" ...she said"No I just like you" I pretened not to hear and said what? she got all red and said "nothing i said nothing" So I don't know how to interpret this. It might mean something but I'm not sure what. We are kool together and were good friends so I don't know. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe i'm making a big deal over something for nothing.

i have only 1 girl that is a friend and i met her like a couple weeks ago. she has a bf and im kool with him and then i met her because she was supposed to hook me up with one of her friends. and now i hang with her and her bf a lot all the rest of my friends are all dudes. no big deal. i wish i could make more girl friends but i just have a real hard time talking to girls even about like homework assignments.

Well first off if you get the numbers of those "out-of-leaguers" then you should at least give them a call. those type of girls that I know of at my skool tend to like the guys that are different. for some odd reason. I still can't figure that one out. But hey if they gave you their number willingly then by all means give it a shot and call it. The worst that can happen is it would be a fake number which happened to me once with a girl I really liked. you live and learn. go for it bro.

I licked my girlfriend a few times...she liked it though...i just walked up to her one day and made look like i was gonna kiss her on the cheek but instead I licked her...and she said she liked it. kind of weird but that was like a year ago now.

Thanks for pointing all that out Diggity...I knew that I was acting dumb I should have seen it before, I was planning on giving it one more shot but lately she has been ignoring me so I think I'm just going to try and forget about it. Thanks for the advice guys and gals.

This is a really long story but Im gonna cut to the chase. It was 3 weeks before prom and I couldn't find a date. I asked my friend Lyns if she knew of anyone. She knew a girl she said she would talk to her friend Karis. Lyns talked to Karis and Karis said that she wanted to hang out with me a few times to get to kknow me better. So Lyns said to meet her and Karis at the plaza "common hangout ground for us seniors" one night. I went there and waited. Lyns txted me and told me Karis couldn't make it. this happened for 4 days in a row. Finally me Lyns Karis and Lyn's bf went out go carting, then another time we hung out at someone's house, a party another night, and then the mall another day. All the time I was always hanging with Karis talking. We got along great. I asked her to go to prom with me and she said she would love to. So a week and a half before prom Karis calls me up and says there is a problem. She told me that someone else asked her a couple months ago and she forgot. I told her that she should go with him and some other stuff. I was totally kool about it. I had my bro call her earlier that day cause she was avaoiding me. he had a convo with her that I heard cause she was on speaker phone and she said that she would rather go with me. So anyway she went with the other guy and I went alone. A couple days after prom I ask her to go to the movies with me. She said that it would be kool. We decided on a sunday. The friday before I walked up to her in the hallway and said "We still on for sunday?" and she completely forgot. She asked me what we had planned. I said nothing don't worry about it. And she has been ignoring me ever since. A couple of her friends say that she really likes me and wants to date but I can't read her. She sends me such mixed signals I don't understand...what should i do?

Well how about this... you are massaging her shoulders or something right and jsut when you finish lean in and give her a quick little peck on the check or something like that so she wouldn't even know it's coming.

Ok bro here is what i did...i was in a situation just like yours a couple years back....Just go up to her and say you had a bad week...name a couple things that could have gone wrong at your house...*broke your guitar strings...fell down the stairs...* Go with that then say your sorry for ignoring you and see if you can go out some time.
