I like this guy from work and I told him that i think he's realli cute 2 days ago ... and he said dat he thought i was realli cute too, online ofcourse.. haha i'd never have the guts to say that in person ...anyway, ya he said we shud go out sometime and stuff ... but he hasn't called yet, or anything Why wouldn't he call me or anything!?!?! i'm soo into him and i'm pretty sure i made it very clear!! and he's obviously into me too (i think) .. i'm so confused... help!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if he's anything like the guy i used to reallly like who used to just sit there and stare at me...actually we stared at each other ...lol i started it cuz i found out that he liked me...and it lead to him asking me for my number and then not calling lol then later he stopped staring at me so much!!! and that, let me tell ya, was heartbreaking!!!!!! it bothered me soooooooo much! lol but he was quite shy ...then i started talking to him more and now whenever we meet he actually taps me on the back and says hello!!!! ...so maybe you shud talk to him!! get to know him...befriend him...and move from there...maybe this guyz realli shy and he wants you to think that he's over you because he somehow got the idea that your not interested...?? ...or maybe he's trying to avoid you cuz everytime he sees you he gets the most creepiest butterflies..??...lol or maybe someone may hav told him to ignore you like this and show less interest to catch your attention..?? ...haha many possibilities, cuz we all know that most boyz are stupid...no offence!!!...it may be hard to believe but i know exactly what you're going through!!!!

I've been so depressed lately. Whenever i'm alone the depression comes back and when i'm around people it just goes away. I need someone so bad and i don't have anybody to turn to. My bestfriend has a boyfriend and when i called her last night she didn't answer her phone..nor did she call me back and i don't have a boyfriend...i don't know what to do. Last night i was so alone and i thought of running away or even suicide but i know that's not the answer. I feel like nobody cares and the feeling never goes away. Any advice? Thanks.

in my opinion, i don't think you're "too shy." If you were "too shy" i don't think you'd be going out with this girl...I know what "too shy" is...too shy is a guy that likes a girl but doesn't even try to ask her out ...

lol but i'm not sure i like this guy ...i don't wanna give him the wrong idea by saying hi, i barely know him and i don't wanna fall for a 16 year old! i should find a way of asking his age first and if he's 17 or up i'll go from there lol i kinda talked to him before but it was embarrassing both times...the first time i was forced to go sit next to him, we're operators by the way, and my phone went wacko and it started beeping lol then i turned to him cuz he was looking at me and i'm like "haha oops sorry..." and he didn't say anything ...and the second time was when i was gonna sit somewhere and he goes and takes my spot, then i stood behind him and he said "oh, are you sitting here? i'm sorry..." and this time I didn't say anything but ya...lol i need to find a way to have a decent conversation with him somehow haha...i guess it's the only way of knowing anything -

Ola...well i'm kinda confused, this is about a totally different guy...Either he likes me or he thinks i'm weird. The very first time that i saw him i was sittin beside my friend talkin to her and just looking around and then i saw him looking at me and talkin to his friend about me (i could totally tell they were talkin about me cuz this guy said sumthing to his friend and then they both looked at me) and he had a smirk on his face ...and then i one day, i got moved by the supervisor (this was at work by the way) and she told me to go and sit at the seat beside him so i did and then i could just see him lookin at me from the corner of my eye and the next day i was standing at the front with my friend and i overheard him talking to his friends about how i was all the way on the other side of the room and then came and sat next to him i dunno if he was saying it in a "omg i think she likes me...she's so weird, why did she move like that?" kinda way...or in a "omg she sat beside me, how exciting!" kinda way lol ... i'm confused cuz this guy is kinda creeping me out, i need to know the truth ...anyway, today he was at work and him and his friends looked at me a couple of times and when his friends were without him they kept looking at me and when i passed him a couple of times he was just staring at me ...what's his deal???? does he think i'm a nutcase or a total hottie?! help!

Maybe it's just me but i don't believe that men and women (girls or boys) can be "good" friends...speaking from past experiences ofcourse...my friend was really good friends with this guy from work and tada! their lovers now ...and i had a best friend who was a guy in highschool, we always hung out and stuff and then realized we really liked each other so we started dating, fell in love, and eventually broke up and our friendship fell apart...see what i mean? if you become gooood friends with a guy, you end up dating them ...that's why it's best (for me) to have (more) friends of the same sex ...lol anyone agree? -
Things are going better with my friend, now...i do feel extremely lonely sometimes but i realize that i need to give her time to spend wid her bf and stuff too ...i'll find someone eventually, even it takes 4ever...but i totally agree with you, Thursday! When my first love cheated on me and left me for another girl, i felt exactly like you!!! And you're right, things do get better...since i stopped seeing him i got to know the world a bit more and made tons of new friends and met A LOT of new hawties ... * * * * like this does happen but it makes you stronger for future references, you learn to be aware and protect yourself if it was to happen again ...i hope your life gets better and thanxxxx for ur post, it helped!!!

I feel so empty, like something or someone is missing in my life, all the time. I have this friend and we were supposed to be bestfriends but something happened on monday...We were in my car and i was accusing her of not trusting me enough and stuff and we sat for a long time without saying anything and then she just tells me she needs some time to think so she gets out and leaves...and this made me feel awful and i didn't know what to do or who to turn to so i just cried (but she doesn't know) ...and then we talked later at work and she told me that she went to her "boyfriends" place when she left me...it feels like she trusts this guy more than she trusts me and she's only been with him for only like 2 weeks now ...anyway, then i told her that she's supposed to trust her "bestfriend" and she said "we're not bestfriends" and that hurt A LOT, then she said that i cud be her good friend but not bestfriend...so i said whatever and she texted me later and said she was kidding and she still loves me but now i don't feel comfortable calling her my bestfriend anymore...it feels like only HER feelings matter and mine are just trash she always has someone to turn to and then there's me...i feel like i can't even turn to her anymore...i need someone and i have nobody to be there for me when i need them ...i always feel so broken. I want a boyfriend but i don't know how to get one (lol) ...How can i overcome these stupid feelings????? What can i do about my friend?? ...any advice will do, thanx

I agree with wlfpack81, but i don't understand why some guys are shy when they are drop-dead totally cute!!!!! some of them may THINK that i'm too good for them but i come from the same background as them, i used to be totally shy and i don't blame them...back then i would NEVER even think of talking to or going out with someone i was crushing on...if only they knew... Luke--Yeah, i'm stupid lol i give my number to guys that i don't like cuz they ask and i don't wanna hurt them...i can't say no but you do have a point there...I can't just take on a guy that i don't like, i can't even kiss anyone that i'm not into..it just makes me sick (that's why i've never kissed anyone) ...i look WAY better now than i did before...Before, i couldn't get any guy that i ever liked and now i feel like i can get anyone cuz no one ever rejects me anymore (even if they're not single) and i just find that crazy!! yeah, i get a lot of attention and stuff but i never actually get any further with any of the guys than them asking me for my number...i still kinda believe i'm ugly and i don't have confidence...maybe that's the problem...maybe it's me...Thanks Luke, you realli helped

Nothing ever works out right for me. I find out that guys like me and that attracts my attention and i start liking them back (if their my type, ofcourse) and then they turn out to be really shy and/or chicken/wimpy or a$$holes who are just trying to play and already have girlfriends...Also, i meet guys at malls but nothing happens because they all think that i have a boyfriend when, the truth is, i've never had a boyfriend or even kissed a guy before. People think i have and i lie and say that i have but i havn't. I dunno, i guess i look like the type of girl that wouldn't be single cuz every guy that i meet asks me if my "boyfriend" is around and when i tell them that i'm single they tell me their "really" surprised! i don't understand...so i give guys my number when they ask for it but never get a phone call from them! Apparently, from what i hear, they tell their friends and stuff that they really like me and i'm really hot or whatever but they never even try to make a move! the only guys that have actually called were the desperate type that i didn't even feel anything for ...is there something wrong with me?? i'm sooo lonely and i soo badly want a boyfriend but nothing works out for me ...What can i do to meet a guy that will actually want something? How do i get guys to actually make the phone call? This doesn't make sense

If a shy guy is truly into you and you ask them say, "hey do you wanna go to the movies with me and my friend some time...?" what are the chances of him rejecting me? For the shy guys: Would you turn down a girl you like and you don't ask her out but she asked you to do something??? and if you would turn her down...WHY!!!!! ...im this close to asking this guy out but i'm afraid ...mainly cuz he apparently likes me but he never called me :splat:

i agree most with Mysterious Gurl ...Only because of how my past experiences have been...i hope guy's are the same way because the guy i'm crushing on is crushing on me, i know for a fact ...and none of us are getting anywhere and yeah you're right it's getting rather obsessive!!! he's now driving me crazyyyyy

okay, when you asked "Why do women go to bathroom in pairs?" i can answer that!!!! lol me and my best friend alwayssss go to the bathroom together and it's so that we can go somewhere "private" and talk! talk! and talk! and get all our excitement out! see, we have crushes on people at work and we really can't talk about it in front of a million people or while the guy's watching us...also, if something realllly freaky just happened and we need a good laugh..bathroom! lol the bathroom is another name for "privacy" ...for us anyway...yeah when we come out of the bathroom together, guys always look at us like "????" ...well now you know! and i'm sure every girl ..or should i say every pair of girls...has the same reason! and also, all women don't behave the same cuz some girls are just plain weird and some are "normal" ...everyone's different! lol

lol i personally think i have shown him i like him...cuz i gave him a lot of eye contact and he surely stared back at me and these eye contacts used to last a looong time! until one of us looked away ...and then after he asked me for my number i thought he hadn't called cuz maybe he lost it so i write him a lil pathetic note that read: "hey wuts up? you shud call me sumtime"... and then it had my number and i gave it to this girl to give it to him and she did and this is what he said to her "i already have it" ...see, i think he's a big wimp but i don't agree with Gods^Gift cuz i reallllly realllly like him and he is quit talkative once i start the convo and i realllly wanna go out with him ...i just think that this guy hasn't had a girlfriend before and maybe that's his problem...but i agree that i should find someone else if this goes no further ...although i have problems getting over guys easily...

he knows i like him!!!!!!!!!!!!! cuz someone told him and these were his exact words "yeah, i know..she's always looking at me" and when she asked if he likes me he said, "yeah, she's hot" ...i can't ask him out i'm scared lol
